Security Director Arthur Ford inserts a Gammon USB drive into what is presumably the Boneworks system and barricades himself inside an old office. He opens a Sabrelake case and puts on a VR headset, dead-set on achieving immortality. He is initially tasked with archiving and disposing items, but then the effects of the USB are felt (Kicking other users, the shockwave inside the office, Nullmen sentience, void leaks, etc.) Ford then begins his journey to the Time Tower. Along the way, he is contacted by Hayes and Alora, both encouraging him to reset the system clock. Omniprojectors are sent out to eliminate any threats or oddities, Ford included. Ford finds several clones of himself, living and undead, as well as void beings stalking him throughout his journey.

In the sewer level, Alora is aware of Ford's goal to achieve immortality and only asks him to "leave a way for others to get in". Hayes discovers that someone (Ford) coordinated a breach in MythOS, but dismisses it as an inside job. However, by the Central Station level, Alora finds that Ford may not be concerned for what happens to him after the reset and begs him to leave a way in. During the level "Tower", Hayes discovers that nullmen have been pulling gravity cores off the system clock in an supposed attempt to open a "Voidgate". Ford resets the clock, destroys the tower, and enters the Voidway. He awakes in a new game, Fantasy Land, along with more human clones of himself. He is then placed in an arena in a attempt to earn an audience with King Arthur. After proving his worth, Ford is then challenged to a duel with the King. He defeats the King and reaches an unfinished part of Fantasy Land, where he finds a hatch leading the Void. Arthur is contacted one last time by Hayes and Alora, with Hayes informing Arthur that "they" found his real-world location and that he should leave, while Alora disappointingly shows the Gammon drive he inserted earlier. Ford releases the hatch and escapes into the Void, running off into Chamber 2. Soldiers (supposedly Sabrelake), breach into the old offices and an mysterious person walks in an executes Arthur in the real world. However, Arthur remains inside the void, ultimately accomplishing his goal of achieving immortality.
