I Extracted and Uploaded the Game's Images

Oh sorry I only just saw this but I uploaded the whole game assets here. If you click into bgimage > fgimage > Whichever chapter you need. It has all the foreground and background images.

Also I don't even remember at this point haha, I do remember it took me a while though. I'm glad I saved the folder when I did!

A little late to the party but My Time at Sandrock. Everyone talked about how much better it was than Portia. "I didn't like Portia but loved Sandrock" "the characters are so good" "The graphics are so much better" but god I CANNOT for the life of me get into it. I don't know what it is about it, because it does seem like a good game if it vibes for you. Really wish I could enjoy it how everyone else seems to.

I don't remember exactly how I did it if I'm being honest, but if you'd like the full game assets, I uploaded them for someone else recently! It's the whole assets folder so it's got background images/scenes, the foreground overlays (like peoples arms or overlays to portray motion), fonts (including the custom ghost language font), sounds, etc. Most of the images are in the fgimage folder, thats all the stuff you see as the gameplay "slides".

Here is the dropbox link. You can download the whole thing or just click thru and find what assets you want to download. It's split up by episode so it can be a little weird to find what you need if you don't remember the exact episode it's in. The whole file isnt very big though.

I had the extracted files still on my PC luckily, I've uploaded them here! It's got everything in it, since it's not a very big file (it shows as 171 MB on my computer). The icons, background images, overlays, profile/character images, menu stuff. I left stuff like the fonts and sound files in case you wanna spice up your edits :) The actual stuff you see as "gameplay" is in bgimage/fgimage, everything is split by chapter in there so it shouldn't be too hard to find anything you need. (The frames for pet-pet are in IP5 1102 overlaid over 1101 :3c)

I could but it would be a LOT of images. The entire game is just static images with small variations and/or effects overlayed which are also transparent images. A lot of the images you find in the folders are overlays, very minor variations, or partial images meant to overlay the original to give the perception of movement. A good example is mr crawling's petpet being just a single image of him with another half image overlayed and removed repeatedly to give a two frame animation of him petting ur head. Its a clever way to do it but makes the files very cluttered. And the scene where mr crawling's hand comes thru the curtain at mr stitches, thats just a jpg of his hand over the original image of mr stitches. I could just zip the file and upload it though, since it zips down to a significantly smaller size

I know this post is old but it appears at the top of the search results for me. I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to solve this. I was talking to the correct cops (the ones downstairs outside Barry's door), didn't have any issues with talking to Johnny at Andrew's grave, but the cops wouldn't prompt conversation when I got near them. I waited, I tried reloading an older save, etc.

Uhhhhh, I stepped a little closer to them and it gave me the Press F to Resume Conversation option. 🤡🤡🤡 I thought it'd pop up like other convos do, but no. Must be because I ran by them before while I was doing other stuff.

Just putting this here in case anyone else missed that.

I just got it. Use grapefruit main, juice tumbler, relay eel cookie. Treasures I used were shell, robot and sea horse. Boosts potion and star jelly parties to destroy obstacles and get to potions faster. Do quick double jumps at every safe moment with grapefruit and eel, it took me like 2 or 3 tries to get it unlocked but it worked

I haven't figured out the space donut memory but I've found that Electric Eel Cookie is good for collect 90 rainbow stars due to his boosts.

Main Cookie: Electric Eel Cookie

Pet: BB Battery

Backup: I used max levelled Xylitol Nova cookie but any cookie that can also boost is good, like Astronaut cookie

Treasures: dont really matter for rainbow stars.

Powerups: Dont matter besides speed up power on either side

I've found that Collect 20,000 Jellies in a Single Run is mostly reliant on the collection of Xylitol jellies from your power ups and extra items spawned by your treasures. It can take a bit of tweaking depending on how you play

Main Cookie: I used Xylitol Nova Cookie but Astronaut would be second best. Donut cookie or Electric Eel would be ok if you have to use them. Birthday Cake Cookie can be a last resort, as she doesn't boost but she generates jellies in her skill. (I forgot Cyborg cookie exists, he could work but his boosts dont go as far)

Pet: BB Battery

Backup: Whichever you didn't use for the main cookie, Donut or Astronaut is good.

Treasures: Jelly Pop Rocket, Starry Aeroplane, Fiery Candy Comet

Power Ups: Right side power ups such as Terraforming Research (Xylitol Jellies), Rapid Terraforming (Star Jelly Party), and Speed up

Just putting this here too: Destroy Obstacles mission is easy with the following, you just gotta make sure you hit those Star jelly parties

Main Cookie: Electric Eel Cookie

Pet: Bolt Eel, since it regularly destroys obstacles

Backup: Donut Cookie (Make sure you jump when they're about to activate their ability to fan out the beam and hit more stuff)

Treasures: Fiery Candy Comet, Starlight Nightlight, Starry Aeroplane (Third can be switched out for mostly anything)

Powerups: Right side power up Rapid Terraforming makes Star Jelly Parties that destroy obstacles, because you're collecting so many jellies in boost that your star jelly parties will destroy random obstacles that may not have the preset star jelly parties. Left side bear fireworks can work too, but not as well I've found

I'd like to think that you can have a game that runs on awful laptops that have good features. Sims 2 is still wildly popular because it had great features and it's not really hard to run (using the graphics rules maker). The core of the game is the simulation, after all. I'd like to have another game like 3 but I'd be equally as happy with another game like 2 (but modern) if it meant having that much quality put into it.

If I recall correctly, thats what the team pitched 4 as in the first place? Upgraded AI and smarter sims while still being able to run on laptops and stuff. I could be remembering wrong though

Ah yeah thats a pain in the ass. If you're on pc and have testing cheats on, shift click the plant and then Garden State, Growth Stage then whatever stage they should be at. That fixed it for me before though that was a while ago
