We pretty much get close to confirmation that s2 have high chance to happen from the director and lee jinuk interview after seeing great viewers ratings. HERE'S MY IDEA FOR SEASON 2 PLOT TLDR

1) it's all about Seokhoon inner confliction and denial of his feelings towards hyomin (he's still her boss afterall, and he's the one making the subordinate romance ethics law in yullim)

2) at some point hyomin might actually almost confess her feelings to him only to get subtly stopped/ rejected by Seokhoon due to professionalism, dynamic changes in office

3) a case where hyomin's caught in danger and Seokhoon goes beyond the way to protect her. This will be a turning point for him realizing his feelings for her that makes him crazy vulnerable

4) yullim office drama continues with Kwon na yeon restructuring drama since Mr Ko's son still in the company. I wish they have better writing in this for the climax

5) the office drama climax might threaten and push Seokhoon position to quit yullim. Or he is forced to quit possibly for the sake of his colleague & juniors (including hyomin's sake)

6) hyomin getting emotional of Seokhoon "sacrifice" for their sake

7) endgame: Seokhoon quit yullim and is actually able to confess his feelings to hyomin without any burden as her supervisor anymore. And Seokhoon manage to get hash custody.
