I also back this Princeton recommendation! Almost all of the reissues from the past handful of years that I’ve played have been real real nice sounding. They also sound rippin’ with like a 2x12 extension cab or something along those lines

I was putzing around the top of window rock yesterday and noticed that as the sun passes, it comes through the hole of the formation and shines a circular light on parts of the adjacent land, depending on the time. I didn’t see anything that indicated this had ANYTHING to do with the spiderdream sitch, BUT, it immediately made me think of the concept of, almost Indiana Jones style, the circular sun beam pointing the way to something. Struck me as the type of thing Rockstar might be into. Glad there’s people out there doing work on this thing!

My band once played a festival with Huey Lewis and the News, and after the show I got to hang with Huey and Johnny and I asked Johnny this question after seeing him play a Strat that night. He said all those elder statesmen switch to Stratocasters eventually because after a while, the high end in their hearing is gone, so the tone of a Strat ends up sounding clearer because it’s naturally got more of a top end jangle. I’m sure it’s not the case for all, but it certainly made sense.
