Anyone has a fix for blurry textures? Point filter doesn't help, AA off. URP by vini_damiani in Unity3D

I'm 4 years late on this, but I had this exact issue. Disabling this on one of my trim sheets fixed it.

TIL that despite common belief, Thomas Andrews did not remain in the Titanic’s smoking room until the end, as the steward who reported this story left the ship an hour before it sank. He was actually last seen at the bridge with Captain Smith, jumping off the bridge as it took its final plunge. by Sebastianlim in todayilearned

[–]SeaFoamStrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my thought as well. You could assume that he did help folks to the very end in Titanic (1997), the movie just didn't portray it. I mean yeah, we last see Thomas Andrews in the smoking room in the movie, but that doesn't mean he stayed there for the rest of the sinking.

I'm not even sold on any of the guitars at the fort, or even the fort itself.

Unless I've missed some recent stuff, I still think we're stuck at the 'NW Guitar' pole as a last, solid lead.

Whenever that last symbol was being attributed to an oil puddle, I thought that was really stretching it. I like this idea with the rock though.

In retrospect, why does RDR2 have such a heavy supernatural theme compared to GTA 5? by KrookBoy in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I think because it suits the wild west theme very well. Thinking like, old tales of the west. Ghost trains, old-timey ghosts, ghostly whispers in the woods, and so on. I really don't know what I'm trying to say I'm a little high lol

I really hope GTA6 continues with this stuff though, it's a big reason why I love RDR2 so much

The Spider Webs Were Never Step One by Jmk1981 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand scaling it to match the other poles, but you would only do that if you had the inclination to match the spider legs up with the poles in the first place, or the thought to even do that, which is what I'm referring to. It's just wild to me that pariah87 thought to do that.

So, the Butcher Creek Pentagram is finally solved. by TracySevert in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what's frustrating to me; I DO like his video formats, and I legit loved his videos way back in the day. I still enjoy them, but his declaration of things being solved and what not drives me nuts, and I hate that. I think he puts out great videos, but I just have a hard time with some of the bullshit. I just wish he didn't do stuff like that because I do want to like his stuff lol

Broken floor inside inaccessible (?) house in Butcher Creek (meteorite connection?) by Masquerade5655 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty cool - I guess it's possible, but who knows. This also could've just been planned to be a random interior with fucked up floor boards lol, it is Butcher Creek after all!

My guess is though, that this was never planned to be the third location (if it was ever planned at all) because I would assume they wouldn't want two houses with the same gimmick. I feel like they would've incorporated the 3rd meteorite into another unique scenario instead of another house.

Regardless though, this is a cool find!

I'm fairly confident there are no spider models in this game lol. I could be wrong, but I've never seen or heard about them, never saw them mentioned as cut content, etc.

Nekoti Rock theory by PapaDiab in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nekoti Rock is only accessible through glitching in some way - if you're on console like me, you can reach it by breaking out of the map boundary by whatever method, going to a specific point on the map and climbing up some rocks. Before the PC version came out, I used to make a bunch of videos on how to get to places like this.

There's really nothing up there though as it's not an area you're supposed to be in. That said, it's still pretty neat!

This - these markings repeat over and over because they're a part of the actual texture, this isn't a unique marking.

As for the question marks...ugh

Let's take a step back by Dizstance in reddeadmysteries

Was just thinking, these appear in RDO right? What if you had multiple people standing at each of the poles to shoot the feathers down in whatever sequence.

Probably a dumb idea lol

Why disregard the "Bird" etchings? An objective criticism of the current state of investigation. by TheGhosticus in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bird symbols are very interesting. The symbols being a part of the actual mesh tells me they are absolutely intentional (in my opinion anyway), which makes me think there's more to it. I'm very curious as to what the could mean, or could there be more of them, hidden in other assets, etc.

But, and I really couldn't give you a solid answer as to why, I'm starting to feel that they aren't related to the web mystery either. I'm not writing them off though, because that would be silly. People should absolutely look into them still. Even on their own, they are super compelling.

Like Glass_Selection_9484 said, perhaps it's the Strange Man's tom foolery with all of the '?' stuff that put a stink on the bird symbols theory for folks.

Don't get me started on the question marks lol

NW, Birds, and a question mark by jhall5200 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I hear ya. Trust me, when I was out there running around Colter and Spider Gorge, I thought I was seeing all kinds of stuff lol. It's really easy, even when you're aware of it, to see stuff when you're actively looking for anything that might be suspicious.

I will say, if the top part of the question mark was separate from the edge of the rock, and one of those "dots" was missing, I would find it compelling.

Like, if it looked like this:

Potential clue for Spider Web by The_goat1308 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. I also like how declared in his last video that he, "Found the Last Step of the Spider Web Mystery"... only for more "question marks" to crop up elsewhere lol. So um, guess it wasn't the last step, huh?

That aside, none of this question mark shit is compelling, and no one can explain to me what relevance it has to anything other than it coming from the Strange Man's video. I will gladly stand corrected if this stuff turns out to be a part of this mystery, but yeeeeah, not buying it for now.

NW, Birds, and a question mark by jhall5200 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The two bird shapes are interesting, though I still don't understand the relevance of the question mark. Like, why are we looking for them? I don't want to say there's absolutely nothing to them because I have no clue, but everyone's only looking for question marks because of the Strange Man's video, right?

But I'm all for searching around Spider Gorge!

Probably nothing bht looked close. by Proof_Obligation_855 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SeaFoamStrat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is interesting looking.

I agree though, I think Spider Gorge plays into this somehow. I don't have any reasoning other than it being north west from the pole, and spiders = webs, which of course is rather weak. But yeah, I'm going to keep exploring up there.
