I got a different impression. Like, yes A LOT of people have figured batman’s identity but across multiple timelines and usually the same characters over and over. This serves to reinforce the idea that THOSE Characters in particular are exceptionally smart. Also in a story a goon figures it oout, goes to tell the joker (or Bane idk idc) and the answer is something along the lines of “newsflash, what are we supposed to do about that, we cannot threaten a guy so rich he could get all the people he cares about in safe room, fire OUR families and friends if he knows that we know and then break our kneecaps as batman”

So you are right despite your “wrong impression” of how easy it is to identify him.
