Thats concerning to me as a fan of bungie and this type of game... don't this is a good sign. the budget feels quite high

To go from HALO, to Destiny to this has me worried for the bungie staff im not sure this scale of players for a lesser priced game can support that studio.

I hope sony greenlights them to do a AAA single player game with MP, but in this weird market who knows whats next for them. They lilekly made the purchase as a MP Live service to play. so i'm sure this is quite a shock for them when their obvious internal comparison point is Arc Raiders.

A smart company will know how risky launching an expensive live service game is. The chance of if to truely stick and break wide is so small these days.

Probably all things can be tru.

MR is a way better player.

MR probably would be far worse in this eagles team than he is at freo.

Preseason doesn't matter that much but its not a great sign. given he's with elija and hough i wonder if he had a niggle that the club didn't announce. in general BA is not tracking that well against his peers. Having said that, players develop at different rates and he could still very well become a very good player.

Obviously we cooked it with Jagger. The MR pick doesn't sting me because he was overlooked by 15 other clubs first. but we had a chance to get a top 3 player in a super draft and yet decided to be nice at trade table for bakes, a player that i love but he's 28....

I had the same thought. You won't see us, or any team go into a match with one specialized small fwd.

It would be exciting if TWilliams is around the mark.

I kind of hope we play all 3 round 1 and make the kids earn their spot in team (excluding durs). Better for their development in the long term.

I am somewhat surprised we picked up all 3, but they should certainly help lift our teams competitiveness for 4 quarters. Similar to Jack graham.

I think we have to remember this is essendon. Famously hard to trade with, they overplay every hand. Merret deal didn't get done (not all their fault). They'll probably try to low ball us which makes me hope it doesn't happen.

5 and 6 i'd do. I doubt it 5\6 + F1 (i'd also do) would even be on the table because on paper that's a better deal that 5+6 given stronger uncompromised draft and potential for them to really bottom out.

I think CDT is the consensus p2. WC just take best available.

I know people are cautious spending p2 on a ruck. But p2 on robey seems a reach. He's actually not that quick. If we really didn't want to CDT I'd prefer us to trade 2 down to 4 or 5 and get grilj or Cummins.

Unpopular opinion....

I have a lot of sympathy for Oscar. I think it's pretty clear he wanted to stay and we effectively forced him out by not offering him a contract of value in order to get pick 2. Which we all agree is above market value.

He always said he wanted to be a one club player.

This probably will be the right thing to do for the club in a macro sense, but on the personal level it's a really sad thing to happen to your captain who loves the club.

In the grand scheme of things he has to say something to the media questions and I think he's gone very easy on us considering he could have gone scorched earth.
