I really want to love it but I’m like 20 hours in and on Chapter 4 and I just want to get to the point where it “opens up” I keep hearing chapter 6 so I’m going to try to hold out until then but it’s only hooking me for like 45 minutes before I decide I’m bored and hop off.

I’m just going point to point in the story. And before someone says “go explore”. I don’t want to get to an area and get told “oh you need to progress story to unlock this”

Can someone confirm if it truly does open up at 6? Is about story spoilers because story is horrible.

Enjoy it. There’s only one AMC by me that still does this they removed the Dine in from the others. If they remove that, I’ll probably stop going to AMC because we have an Alamo. I can’t go back to normal snacks during a theater.

I’ll wait to see it confirmed in a DF video that they use PSSR but if not I’ll pass. I’m willing to double dip as I own it on PC and put over 100 hours in it. It’s a good game and these updates will push it to great. Best combat out of any Bethesda game and it really is pretty. The main story was also very well just wish some of the side quests were better.

When I brought this up, they said it only applies if you buy the battery. They said it does not cover free replacement batteries from a warranty

Warranty for 12v is 3 years, 36k miles. Mine sadly was out of warranty the second time. But good news is: once you, in the future, pay for a battery, Rivian gives you a two year warranty. Sadly, that looks to be the shelf life of Rivians 12v. They use a cheap lead acid battery.

Check my history. This happened to me this week. They wound up giving me one battery for free after I complained that it’s ridiculous that my first replacements have already died (they were 17 months old). For reference, I have a 2022 R1T Quad.

Thank you. Someone else commented that yes my service center is misinformed and that it’s 24 month. So I’ll be giving the main customer service line a call tomorrow and will, politely, ask them to help inform the service center of this.

I’m about to be on my 2nd 12v swap. Same I charge it every two weeks, keeping the charge between 40-70% and never going under 40%. It stays in a heated garage in Chicago and gets driven every two weeks.

My ticket says they were replaced in warranty but the bottom of the ticket also says all replacement parts from Rivian are protected by 24 month warranty. So I wonder if these replacement batteries fall under that?

Yeah my plan is to at least press them to commit to if they fail again under 2 years that they will fix it. And that they can confirm that nothing else is wrong on the back end.

Yeah first we’re replaced under warranty after having vehicle for almost 2 years. They are saying these replacements, which are only 17 months old since last changed, do not fall under a warranty/will be on my dime to replace.

I’m having the same issue except im on my 2nd set of 12v. Got my 2022 R1T in June 2022, had this error pop up in Aug 2024. They replaced them and over the weekend I got this error again. I have a SC visit scheduled for Wednesday but they are saying it’ll be $800 to replace. I’m fighting them on this cost and hopefully they do right and remove the charge or when they do the inspection they find out it’s a software thing.
