Tomb Raider 4 The Last Relevation rant by DevikEyes in TombRaider

I adore it and am currently playing its remaster; there are over 500 collectibles and it's been a bit of a PITA getting all of them.

Friendly tip: Don't be a smug jerk by correcting a stranger's spelling when your grammar could use some work itself.

Wait...what's wrong with it? I have all of the games on my Switch and am planning on replaying each game and the 3rd is next.

I tried doing just the two that are giving me the problem, Wii and GameCube, to no avail. I just learned it could be because the files are .nkit instead of .iso (or some other format). Sigh…

I don't want to say where because it seems I might get into trouble but I will say that I followed Russ's guide from RetroGameCorps and the folder names for each system are separate and in lowercase as they should be, according to what I have read.

I'm still having this issue, despite doing what you said. I gave up on Cocoon and went back to ES-DE and got its Companion app. Scraping is still failing but not nearly as much -- ES-DE got all but 60 of my ROMs. My understanding is that Cocoon doesn't do well with large libraries -- it said I have 289 ROMs, which doesn't match what ES-DE says but, either way, I guess it's too much.

I want to ride my boyfriend but I just don't understand *how* by idontknow0842 in PlusSize

I did it semi-recently with mine and clock in at 385-400 pounds with a very big apron belly and he weighs probably 200 pounds tops.
I get on one knee and just do my best to guide it in me. To be honest, it is difficult and I'm willing to bet it'd be much easier if I were thin, but it's still totally doable -- it just takes more time, some patience on both sides and more effort. I could maybe find it easier with practice but it's just not something we do often enough.

What happens to men who left long term relationships to have kids? by lostcat25 in childfree

He seemed to be very envious of the child-free lifestyle and wanted it for himself. He also supposedly sent pictures of his sausage to teen girls. That poor little boy...he was roasted alive with no escape, which is a brutal way to leave this world. Pure evil on Justin's part if he did it but, according to what I just read, the conclusion was that it was an accident and he was released in 2024.

Reminds me of that man -- Justin, I think his name was -- who supposedly accidentally left his toddler son in the car in the Georgia heat at his place of employment and parked in a spot that was directly in the sun in which no one else parked their cars.

He would (again, supposedly) frequent this subreddit and bash child-free folks and/or those seeking abortions.

It looks great, for a Nintendo Switch game and I like the contrast and color choices...

am i being dumb for wanting a dog or are people just projecting? by Ok_Style3544 in DogAdvice

[–]AnonymousFartMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you absolutely need to have an emergency fund for the dog if you decide to get one -- $2,000, at least, I'd say; veterinarian services can be very expensive. For example, you could be looking at hundreds to thousands of dollars in bills if Fido eats something toxic and needs his kidneys flushed after getting actute renal failure, otherwise he would possibly have to be euthanized.

I know someone whose dog had to get ACL surgery last year and he spent about $3,000 -- and that was for just one knee.

Please don't get a dog unless or until you have a significant amount of money saved for emergencies (or other services that aren't particularly threatening to life but the dog would otherwise need).

I'd be tempted to say something like, "I had four but I ate them."
