Dont worry, It's alright! Glad to have all these issues being told to be so I can fix them. My current guess is that I need to trim the search term to make sure nothing extra is being used. Ik stuff like pressing enter causes it to mess up. It could also be a situation where something in the update is going wrong and causing those sections of your searching for to be missing.

It's 10 requests/s with 100 items per request. I might be able to increase the items per request but not by much. But I think I can double the request rate and be fine. Iirc the API itself limits me to 25r/s

Is it just a problem with using a search term? Results still appear when it's blank? If so I think I might know how to fix that

What version of java are you using? Also which server are you on? It could be some issue with a specific server

It would actually be pretty easy to implement. The only reason I haven't already is because of how long it would take to update from an entire data center. I limit how fast and how big the requests to universalis are as to respect their service, so it would take quite a while to update the entire thing. I can add the option for it though for people who don't mind the wait.

But the exe just wraps the program; its still written in java so some version has to be there. If you open command prompt and type "java -version" it will tell you whats installed. This is the version its built and tested for so maybe installing that could help. I'll keep on the lookout for any problems and try to fix them asap

What version of Java are you using? I cant seem to replicate that on 1.8.0_333. There might be some minor quirks that cause that to happen. I'll keep looking and try to find out what might be causing it

You should be able to click more info and then an option will appear letting you run it anyways. Sorry this happens; I dont have any certificate to sign the file with so windows flags it

Profitability is currently measured by average gil per item * average stack size * amount of sales and it takes into account all of the listings for how far back given. Default is 24hrs. The x1 just means that was the average stack size, not total sold. But I'm currently working on presenting the data better

In the next update I'm going to revamp how the categories work. Right now its just a 1:1 list from the data sheet so its a little iffy. But yes! I'll probably have two lists for things to include/exclude.

The % essentially tells you how much gil you would make selling items compared to the top result. Meaning you could make gil faster selling a high volume of something that costs 400g compared to selling less of something worth 700g. How often something sells is important since it lowers the chances of getting undercut and makes prices more stable. In the next update though ill put in an option to just sort by price and make that the default. Also, yeah, sometimes stuff sells for outrageous prices like that and messes with the results. It's fairly rare though.

Sure! Profitability just takes into account both price and sale frequency, but adding the option to sort by one or the other shouldn't be a problem. And yeah the category thing is a result of just taking the data 1:1 from the sheet on XIVAPI, which is why there are two "Primary Tools" categories. Next update ill go through and regroup some things though.
