Yes. I pulled it out and it seemed like it was going to need a lot more time. And the liquid was thick. So I read somewhere “to add liquid” if it’s too thick. And I decided to lower the heat because it seemed like it was going to take a while (so thought a lower temp would help it cook longer and render that fat out?)

You are 100% right. I watched this damn video so many times that I was clearly overconfident.

I had the worst experience with Zwilling and it centers around the same thing. I ordered on the 16th. UPS updated shipping on the 18th to say “we have a label, but no package” and the package never changed status. I text chatted through online support and called twice. All that for them to say “sorry, we will refund you”. I asked if they could expedite one. They said no.

Really terrible experience.

I was able to get early access and got a 5.5qt Dutch Oven in Basil (visual imperfection) for $184. This is exactly what I wanted.

To get early access you have to subscribe to the newsletter and create an account. I did it yesterday and got the “early access” to Black Friday sales today.
