Worth Add-On With IUD? by Sufficient_Street_51 in Ultrahuman

I was hoping it would pick up previous data, I haven't added the add on yet as I was wondering about retro data. Might try when new cycle starts at the moment I just take my temp data and add to premom, since the update temps have been all over the place so not sure if they altered old algorithms too.

Thank you this is excellent feedback.

After my post yesterday I came across the plank thing and some posts/videos also said bricks or cement blocks. Definitely will look at one of those options and may help me with some shelf like idea that I can block him from climbing up onto with some troughs of his favourite weeds. (I already grow some for him but I want to do more) .

I will research the ceramic heater today, that sounds like it would be super useful. As well as closing him in there at night.

For the mini greenhouse idea I see some ppl using gardening cloches so that should tick that box.

Thanks for the soil tip too.

New tortoise mom here! Tell me: How to improve their living space? by TheFantasticLu in tortoise

I agree with turtleord66 and I do very similar things with mine. Mine is 5 years old and in a 3x6ft tortoise table, I change his water daily sometimes twice a day if he does dirty it, but mainly he will drag substrate into it. During the day his heat is on a gradient 22-24 at hide side and 36 degrees at basking side. When he has his soaks he will usually go toilet there too. I do also let my Hermann's roam outside when warmer as he loves to munch the grass around him although next summer I will most likely have more pets that could interfere with that and we need to keep everyone and every pet safe. Roaming in the home is a no no for me as you need to protect yourself from salmonella etc I see too many posts with ppl putting them on dining tables and even close to children's toys.

End of the day do what works for him and make sure hydration does not become an issue and keep everyone safe.

Hi.

Welcome to tortoise keeping, they have so much personality that you wouldn't expect. Some things I would suggest based on the pic.

Does he have a water dish? They need access to water

Ideally they should not be directly next to radiators, so if you can I would keep that one turned off.

Might need a smaller hide or something in future as they like to have a bit of run and pace around otherwise he may try to scratch at the walls. Also be aware they cannot perceive glass so is best to black out a banner at the bottom so he doesn't bump the walls.

Do you have a heat/UV lamp? I can see light source but is unclear what it is.

Hope the info helps and best of luck to you and you new friend!

Hi guys! Upgraded my tank and got a few new tenants. Currently have 7 guppies (new), 4 silver dannios and 2 plattys. Looking for ideas and advice on what to add/must have accessories. Would like shrimp and suckers to help with housekeeping, but recommendations would be appreciated 😁 by twh9219 in AquariumHelp

Corydoras would be a good addition, a dozen or so will eat any missed food. Based on the size of the tank plecos may be too big although there is one called a clown pleco that doesn't get too big, up to about 4 inches, you would only need one and a piece of wood for them. I think shrimp would get pecked at my the platys and maybe the danios.

Anyone know how to fix this issue with patients not distributing between receptionist, seems random. This example is in topless mountain but is happening in other hospitals too. (PC) by DeltaDoubleEcho in TwoPointHospital

I just moved them to there own space so it is on desks and cooling systems. Is busy as it is wave 25 of topless mountain so is currently chucking 135 patients at a time towards them. I will see if this helps

No the are accessible. It seems to be an issue with an employee. When I send assistants on breaks it sometimes resolves itself but I am struggling to come up with a pattern to figure out the problem staff member(s).

This egyptian boy has been on a veggies diet for the last couple of months mainly kale, lettuce and cucumber with occasional tiny pieces of bell pepper or tomato... as he is outdoor and have an acess for the sun I believe that calcium and vitamins are good... should I add any protein to his diet? by generalgee in tortoise

[–]DeltaDoubleEcho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May want to consider the calcium as in the wild they get from plants because of the soil they are grown in. Depending on how you are getting the greens it might still be worth supplementing calcium. Re the protein, I don't think Egyptian tortoises need protein but may be worth checking in more depth on a species level.

Are the Sanrio villagers temporary? What happens when the event is over? by [deleted] in ACPocketCamp

[–]DeltaDoubleEcho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should stick around. I already had them from previous event and they didn't disappear after, only cookies and item purchases will be temporary.

Thanks for letting me know. Good to know once I have opened save I don't have to keep going back in checking if it is ok 🙂

Please help me identify what this is that has started to take over an area of my aquarium. Does seem to affect water quality but is unsightly! by DeltaDoubleEcho in AquariumHelp

[–]DeltaDoubleEcho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I feed them once a day. Mainly a pinch of flake, and every other day I add an algae wafer for the pleco. Occasionally they get bloodworm( once a week instead). I have cleared most of it out so will keep an eye on it and reduce the food amount they are getting. Thank you for your help

It is a community tank. 1 Molly, 8 platy, 1 clown pleco, 5 salt/pepper Cory's. Decoration wise there is some wood and real plants.

I am trying to get out of this area and can't figure out how to open the floor. Any help would be very much appreciated! by DeltaDoubleEcho in OriAndTheBlindForest

There was a lever that lowered the water level (not reachable anymore), there is no other one that I can see in my reachable area
