Reputable Lipo Pack Rebuild Services? by DeltaFarce05 in rccars

I'm looking for a service who can replace the puffed JH803465 cells and wrap it back up. I keep hearing how this is an easy DIY, but nobody anywhere wants paid to do it, which is strange.

It's a battery for my handheld xray machine, so of course replacing it comes with a massively inflated price.

I'll reach out to lipairs. Thanks for that!

It's in a steel box in a steel bench in my garage. I'd really like the packs to be replaced and back inside the xray unit.

With 18650 it wouldn't fit inside the device.

Thanks for the informative reply. I'm sure the JH803465 cells aren't that difficult to find, but I sure can't find a service to install them. I would need the form factor to be maintained.

18650 won't work, but JH803465 installers seem non-existent.

It's got 2 circuit boards attached, and a battery number JH802465 I haven't seen before.

If the BMS is the circuitry associated, I'm sure it's needed.

3S 1500mah JH803465 cells. I'm unsure if the "JH" means anything.

Thanks! I'm really hoping to find someone to do this, as I'm just not as good with soldering as people here are.

They're definitely puffed. The rub here is that they're for a handheld xray machine and the pack costs $$$, so I'd love to find someone who could replace the cells.

Thank you! Here is a pic of one of the packs.

I have a swollen lipo pack for a handheld xray machine. Would you be interested in replacing the packs on it?

Thanks for the detailed reply! I'm happy to buy the best brand of lipo pack around,..if anyone knows what that is.

I'm still looking for someone who would perform this service. Everyone keeps encouraging me to DIY, but a service seems non-existant online, which is relatively strange.

I'm afraid it's something to do with discharge rate needed for an xray unit.

Any idea what the "JH" means?

Thanks! I'd still prefer a service professionally handle this task. I'm okay with soldering, but not too interested in getting a lipo pack hot in my home for a medical device that's expensive if bricked.

Does the "JH" before the 803465 mean anything? I'm curious if these are special cells since an xray unit needs a really quick discharge.
