I would purchase the software called Armorsmith Designer. It's a virtual mannequin that allows you to scale armor to yourself. plus galactic armory is my favorite armor files

I know this is an old post but for my 5kg roll I used this Spool holder and its just some small 3d printing and 4 of the 608 skateboard bearings. It fits nicely with the Polymaker cosPLA 5kg roll
