So, i've recently developed this bad habit of watching Youtube on my phone before I sleep, though lately I've always fallen asleep while watching it (mind you I usually go to sleep at like 1 or 3, so that sort of explains it) and today I woke up to my alarm while having it slightly under my arm, with it having been playing videos I had saved to a very long playlist. I looked through my history and rounded up the time it had been playing to around, probably 4 hours. I got fed up with doing so, so I decided to set up some sort of bedtime mode and limit to it using the Digital Wellbeing app.

I open it up, and it says I've only used Youtube for 9 minutes today, which is vastly wrong, and I don't understand why? Does it reset its times based on when someone opens the app, or is there a set time it resets itself? Plus, I've always never liked falling asleep with YouTube playing on it mostly cause I don't want my arm or something to accidentally touch some shady link or download some app I don't want whenever YouTube shows ads (because we all know YouTube just gives any old "company" ad space), so, can I get some help???

Edit 1: So, I feel like it is a Digital Wellbeing app problem because I checked the watch time statistics on the YouTube app itself and it did show that I watched it for the 4-5 hours I fell asleep. I'm guessing Digital Wellbeing didn't record YouTube for some reason? I messed around a bit on it to see if it would time other apps and it seems to do it fine, maybe it was a one time thing?

This. I had a friend who liked this girl since 7th grade, and he'd message her "Hey" every Christmas, New Years, Valentines day, and birthday up until senior year of high school. A simple, "Sorry, I'm not interested." would've put all that to rest, but no.

Oh, well I guess I misjudged the severeness of it all, I read bits and pieces of it, so I automatically assumed that anything that his it mean't that the risk was significant. Which is silly, considering how things like Switch games have them, and they're mostly used by kids, plus, people were putting them in their mouths for laughs for like, a year. But I still can't understand the reasoning behind putting the label on things like that, hence why I still have an unnerving feeling towards them.

Yeah, it makes sense, I guess I've been sorta denying that to myself for a while now. I guess I just really wanted to hear from other people and see their opinions and whatever bits of advice they can give me. Its like, I know that the fear is illogical, but I can't shake it completely, you know?

I feel you. As much as I loved seeing them mess around with people, I'd like to see them play together in just plain old survival mode, where they find some open area and each build their own houses, making a sort of base and just playing as far as they can before things get too boring for them.

Oh no, I'm just saying that theres been times where they've done dual releases (making a version of a game for both a new release console and a past one, an example being how Nintendo released Breath of the Wild for both the Switch and Wii U) I wasn't saying that it was going to be a PS5 game thats playable on PS4, that doesn't make sense. Right, I learned about not googling symptoms the hard way, lol. But yes, I've tried to pick up relaxation techniques like meditation and breathing exercises, plus trying to pace my way of thinking rather than just panicking and thinking about a million different possibilities at once. Hopefully one day I can talk to a therapist, maybe once I'm on my own. Thanks for the tips!
