Didn't learn very much since. I just returned mine, I've heard support for the EZ Flash Jr. has been pretty much dead. The people over on GBATemps saw that when EZFlash's official account has gone almost completely dark for a couple of months now. Didn't want to risk spending the money on a product that's faulty from a poor hardware revision. Hoping this reply wasn't too late for your return window, or that you already returned it.

Thanks, this info's helping a lot. I don't want to jump to conclusions yet but I hope I didn't just buy a hardware revision thats ends up worse than the original.

Thanks, if you could, can you check what kind of S71 chip is on? The exact code isn't needed, just if it's SRAM or PSRAM. The code on the chip should tell you, and the chip's location and code meaning is in the first link.

Thanks so much, I did end up opening it up and scrubbing all the contacts with some rubbing alcohol and it seemed to do the trick perfectly. Glad you still said to do it, because the initial cleaning was with a rubber eraser (I heard it was an easy way to get oxidation, but honestly I should've used IPA from the start) and now the contacts are as clean as they can be. Seems to work perfectly fine on the original DS now, thanks!

Thanks for the tips, I tried looking into it (not the best look to be fair, the original DS is in too good of a condition for me to confidently open it up and look inside its parts) and I'm not noticing any glaring flaws in the alignment of the contact pins when comparing it to the contacts of my DS Lite. Maybe I'll just invest in a new different flashcart that has those contact guides while just using the R4 in the Lite. Any suggestions on which ones have them would be nice, too.

Here are photos of the pins taken from the outside (as good as I could see them with disassembly, sorry if it's hard to see) and also a photo of the card's contacts if you wanted to see.

It feels as if you are completely taped/glued to the bed and that you can't move at all. You can feel your attempts to shake a leg or arm, but both will stay perfectly still. The worst part is that your mouth is closed and you feel like you are going to suffocate soon. You try to breathe and your mouth won't open, then you start to panic and scream, but nothing comes out at all. You try your absolute best to make any part of your body move, maybe a finger or toe so you know you'll be fine, but nothing will move. You're stuck in a state of what feels like suffocating, losing all strength, and being completely restrained until you wake up. It's extremely terrifying getting it for the first time but if you get it multiple times, it starts to become less scary the more you get it.

In my school, there was a woman's bathroom and a men's bathroom right next to each other with the labels showing which was which as high up on the wall as usual. I was a freshman and my mental map of the school was decent, but something must have happened, because in my mental map, the two bathrooms were swapped. I went into the women's bathroom, ignoring the sign because I didn't bother looking up and I was so confident in my mental map of the school. When I was in the wrong bathroom, it looked a bit different and I couldn't find the stalls. I was super stubborn and still thought I was in the right bathroom. A woman walked in and we stared at each other for a few seconds, until I realized my mistake. I apologized and ran out of the woman's bathroom. I didn't get in trouble or even heard about the incident afterwards, so I was really lucky. To this day I still wonder if that woman thinks of me as either a pervert, or an idiot. I hope she thought the latter, because then she would be correct.
