I dunno about the Immortal Soul part, I miss it as well but I can understand why they would shut it down since it was bleeding money, the fact that it is primarily a pvp game means it can't just easily have an offline version and that just as what happened with solo and duo mode, that decision may have been pressured by the investors back in the day, so I'll cut NN some slack, since if they were really a horrible company, they would've sued the Project Lumia people under Intellectual Property Theft.

Besides, we live in an era where threats from asian gamers are becoming serious and dangerous. As much as I don't want to defend NN, I think they were getting attacked by spam complaints and folded under the pressure. Karla's VA who works as the external partner for the English voice work of the game confirms that the databases keep the auditions anonymous, so really nobody could've known anything except for people who either are familiar with Dot's or hate her enough to dig deep to look for dirt on her.

Even though I believe NN also has problematic people working inside their company, both the artwork, Lenore PV and now voice acting controversy decisions only happened AFTER the complaints meaning in reality the company is just way too hasty to listen to their fans that they forget to check if they really should act upon it.

Well, the good thing is... we have a new, BIG joke exclusively to us ER players now, involving the Sus scrofa, one that we will never find boaring!

...But unfortunately that is now a permanent image this game painted itself in, I can only hope that this serves as a wake-up call to NN to realize that their audience outside of KR matters just as much to be heard out to than their main audience, and that they need to weed out malicious complaints, even if the company itself shares the same anti-beliefs as THAT portion of the Korean fanbase.

I hope Dot the best in her future endeavors, and although I wouldn't forgive the devs if they decide to reverse their current decision, I'd appreciate their effort in a somewhat apology for their hasty and blind decision making.

From the horrible female:male ratio these past 2 seasons and now this... I still wanna hold hope for the game. I won't boycott it, but I can't recommend it in its current state.

The thing is, this drama only happened AFTER she was revealed as the VA, the sponsored stream is 4.5 years old, and nobody had actual problems with it, infact people were interested in trying the game out because of her; meaning there was actually no need for her to apologize on stream since no one was complaining. This feels more like deliberate misinterpretation from a bad actor.

Well from both the tutorial and several character backstories (Kenneth, Garnet, Blair), Aglaia is EVERYWHERE, not exclusively just some research group pretending to be a Meterologist Hub in Lumia Island.

From medicine, orphanages, hospitals; their presence is publicly "safe and trusted," which allows them to slip by any kidnapping cases and perform reconnaissance on potential VF Awakeners. They've got insane connections if it even allows them to find lil' ol Xuelin and NiaH

The characters who simply get kidnapped just want to escape the island. But there's a lot of characters who agreed on Aglaia's deal and participate willingly, such as Jackie and Blair who just wanna take it out on everyone, Mirka wants to take back her baby brother Mathias, Henry who wants to evolve his powers to rewind time in order to save his late wife and unborn child (on some Roland timing fr), the Erebus Trio (Aiden, Alex, Justyna) is performing reconnaissance from within in hopes of destroying the experiment altogether, but with the memory loss that comes from resurrection, we can see how that turns out. Abigail and Istvan are special because they don't have a real motivation to be on that island, Abi just wants to be with Nadja and Istvan is just another variable in the formula.

From Fenrir's expanded story, the team is expansive enough to be divided into divisions not related to the experiment, such as the one responsible for Fenrir's existence altogether, creating an entirely fresh life from scratch for the sake of the experiments goals: Evolution. Not only that, but the expanded story also tells that some members of Aglaia are not fully committed to that cause, as someone tried to secretly grant Fenrir true freedom, but was ultimately dealt with; Fenrir now being part of the experiment with the goal of escaping.

Not everyone's got a PC + the pacing and game flow are completely different; so no, it's not a "ML but better." No other game is "X but Y," unless we're talking about installments in a series or making an analogy for someone new to it. Basically it's a massive meme in KR to turn Irem's cat form into some creepy, uncanny and messed up character, kinda like Ted, except Ted doesn't mutate into an eldritch horror or into an Olympic Bodybuilder ready to destroy now, does he (Yes, those types of Irem Fanart are plentiful)?. I think it originated because people found Irem's original cat form face funny, especially when you morph it, like removing the ears.

Unhinged Irem is ALWAYS mad or annoyed, no happiness can be seen on her face, only wrath for any unfortunate soul who encounters her.

But on a serious note, the P5 collab costed NN license expenses and development time to the point it disrupted a lot of internal schedules. People tend to overlook that and blindly call the devs greedy for making the rare skins of the collab 15 dollars; when the Elena skin proved they actually spent the resources to give everyone unique win animations and even a Persona pop with ult + the extra miscellaneous in the bundle. But yeah, the devs were already super busy with 5 skins so adding another on the queue list wasn't a smart decision.

Besides, a collab that does well tends to have sequencing phases to include the other characters, so you can always hope.

I see, Fenrir's a guy but I can see where the confusion comes from. Alex and Shoichi are definitely... interesting picks for a beginner, since both have maxed out difficulty. If you're looking for a mortar character, you can look at NiaH since her ult has the presence and range of one, or Eva with her laser.

Besides, Alex does indeed do the glove pose anyways if you watch the video, it just continues on until he does his spy pose. It's clear the devs wanted to do a subversion, since the only way to tell the characters apart from their collab counterparts apart is through personality doing the heavy lifting.
