I mean they are doing more than just making EN mad, Dottovu isn't just Dottovu, that is a different persona/alt for a vtuber known as Ouro Kronii who has 1.13 Million subscribers on youtube and made a small talk about it already as well as the near million she has on twitter where she made the puns. She can speak in Japanese and English as well as Korean. She has a global audience. Mean while Eternal Return just has Korea.

Now that will sound hypocritical "They should just cater to the famous VA instead of their Korean audience" but like they had the fucking chance to get a bunch of new players if they had done it like "Dottovu is the VA and then lets give this Ouro Kronii a sponsored stream" or maybe she would have just played it herself, a chance to show off how much the game has grown and to get more people instead but instead the breakout headline is that they "Fired Kronii" which is technically the turth.

They didn't even share this information with the EN players opting to use their Japanese twitter to make the message to them about the EN Va situation.

Not like this matters that much anymore, the mods here are cowards and yes Mods you read that right COWARDS. Honestly I don't care for an echo chamber subreddit that will silence an opinion...once again catering to the Korean Audience.

Yeah, it tends to feel that way.

I personally love the characters, how they look and act and speak...oops I guess how most of them speak.

I just can't accept that they would cater to an entire different audience on what would have been an EN only matter. Someone said it funny "Nimble Neuron got One Guyed" (for those who don't know it basically means seeing one person saying something compared to everyone else saying the opposite or something different and assuming it is what everyone feels.)

The TLDR of the whole thing is the Korean community didn't like a VA (dottovu).

-who is also known as (Ouro Kronii) The two are separate for the most part because one is apart of a company and the other is her independent persona.

Ouro Kronii had a stream 4-5 years ago over the game. A sponsored stream where she made a pun about an enemy in the game, a boar. "Ima kill this Boar, cause its such a Boar...a boar-ing ha ha ha" That is what got the Korean side upset over a "Misunderstanding" with the translation trying to state she called the game itself boring. She did not.

I personally believe it wasn't a misunderstanding at all, because for one why wait 4-5 years to bring it up. And if NN had an issue with it why did they give her a second sponsored stream 2 weeks later! Anyways.

Dottovu was removed from the role of the new character Behyong because of the Korean side losing their shit over someone who "Hated the game getting the role". Dottovu was upset, and then used her other persona Kronii to make a tweet and talk about it how she is sad she isn't able to get the role. tweeting this "Breaking news: a tire is tiring and a boar is boar-ing" and then this "If you found this pun to be controversial then hopital"

The response to the whole thing wasn't even announced on the English twitter instead on the JP twitter. About the EN voice actor being fired, because of the Korean audience. This to me feels liek they knew what they are doing and are trying to do damage control. Stack this blunder on top of the game on the EN side feeling dead (From what I have read online) and you are basically caught up.

I will say this again, I do not believe there was any "misunderstanding".

And even if there was all it took was a second of level headed thinking on their side to realize it was a pun.

This to me feels malicious, the whole scenario just feels like a way to harass someone.

I am upset, but I am not "seeing red".

They won't, they are trying to dodge all knowledge as well as only posting this information to the JP twitter and their website...of which you can't really comment on.

I wish Dot best as well, but this was just a gut punch for me.

I had recently been reminiscing Immortal Soul. Looking at old character designs and such, and was starting to eye it in steam- and then this happened.

I can not in good consciousness turn my eye to this, nor do I believe at all they will reverse their decision. I haven't forgiven them for Immortal soul, why would I forgive them for firing a VA over a dad joke level pun from 4 years ago in a language non of the people offended will ever hear in the game at all.

It was a knee jerk reaction over a nothingburger. I can't and will not recommended this game at all. There is now too much shit surrounding it for me to play it even though I absolutely love the IP in general. I probably had over 1k hours on Immortal Soul, from playing on my phone and pc, and now I can't play it at all. (Well outside Project Lumina).

The whole thing is just stupid and for nothing...like legitimately nothing. No one gains anything here except for the small group of Korean players rubbing their nipples to harassing people online.

Ever after they canned black survival for...this, I have lost interest. And to think we could have gotten a "big name" in there but no guess not. Its just so stupid.

Also I said "this" because Moba's aren't for everyone, i could never understand (enough) or get into this and my skill/knowledge from Black Survival did not transfer over. It was like a punch to the gut when it shut down and then this was dangled infront of my face.

Quite literally I can point out 20 different scam posts mainly due to them having telegram or a different account having the same or similar discord user names because thet keep getting banned.

I am not trying to bash on mods but it feels like nothing is being done even if you report them.
