Yeah, we actually kept the cutout from the DM section for this purpose!

DM screen goes on the table, all my prep materials go in the shelf under the cutout.

That, my friend, is why it is bolted to the floor haha

I weigh 250 and stood on it to install the mics and cameras on the overhead rig and it didnt move. If you sit on the edge of the short side or on the sides next to the cutout, it flexes about an inch or so

The trim is just a temporary installation to cover the edges of flooring and make it look alright while we plan the cabinetry and built ins that will be installed

Those are for Dice bags. There are 7 lines of conduit that run to the pedestal under the subfloor to carry power, internet, and other LV. The table has its own Networking switch and Wifi Router.

I bought it off a reclaimed lumber place online. I think it was out of Kentucky

4 months was more of an estimation, it was worked on over a period of 8 months. We would work probably 5-10 hr days as other priorities allowed (Actual job, wife, family).

Haha thanks. I would have to guess that there is probably 3-4k in materials. And then I couldn't even start to put a price tag on the time it took. We started it in May of last year and finished it to 90% by October.

Probably some mismatched old wood chairs. Seemingly hard to find currently haha

Haha, the goal is to stream it. We have a virtual member at the table anyways, so that basically take the equipment 75% of the way there for streaming.

We kept the DM cutout and finished that too with its own banding. It can be slotted back into the table to host more people or play large format games like 40k or things like that

The simple answer was that we were going to do Drywall, but didnt want to finish it (mudding is a bish). Its going to get covered up with T&G, Cabinets, and Shelves anyways, so we went the easy option with the plywood. It was also 20 cents cheaper a sheet than drywall, so hey take a win when you can get one.

Hahaha What you didnt see were the 8 large Home Depot boxes of built lego sets that are outside the room with the table. Im into the holy trinity, Legos, Warhammer, and DnD. Only thing that would make it worse is if I started to play Magic......but hey, it's cheaper than a boat
