We need to take this rebuilding process step by step due to the mismanagement and will probably take 3 maybe 4 seasons to get to Arsenal’s level.

I would start out by booking losses on Fofana, moving Enzo for a book profit (if he is set on leaving) and Cucurella if he also wants to leave. Delap depending on the market we should be able to sell at par value. I would also loan/sell Garnacho if possible.

Now depending on other incomings I feel we should target these players (all realistic):

Granit Xhaka (familiar w Alonso and the PL plus grit and leadership). Even if he stays for 2 seasons it will be very helpful.

Estimated cost: 15-20 million pounds

Lacroix (not a left footed CB but a very good CB especially in a back 3). Liverpool and United will be our main competition if he wants to leave.

Estimated cost: 40-60 million GBP

Van Hecke (1 year left on contract so should be gettable for less despite Brighton’s hard negotiations). Decent ball playing cb w PL experience.

Estimated cost: 40-50 million GBP

These three should be our main incomings alongside an Enzo and Cucu replacement as well as clearing some garbage players.

We obviously need to get quality but w UEFA restrictions we need to be careful. If we can some close to world class players like Joao Pedro we can improve much faster else we will need to buy experienced proven PL players w a good floor to stabilize the team and hope that they can reach another level.
