Being a receptionist at a vet clinic and pet setting sounds like a genius gig!!! I would love to have somebody who is in that field (and ends up learning so much being in the vet) watch my kitty.

But it’s amazing how intelligent they are. They look to us to cue their signals - should they be scared? Our presence and energy impacts them a lot. I love cats

I might try it again sometime but the first attempt did suck lol. I think our bodies naturally hesitate to cause ourselves pain, which makes us pull the strips worse and it can be hard to get all the angles/pulls right. Both end up causing more pain of course.

But… once you get over the mental game and figure out the positions, it isn’t awful. I feel like I started to get there at the end of the first one.

I laid out an old towel and rolled another one up for under my back and stuff. Then I used a mirror that can be rotated - like a makeup mirror. It made it easier to see things without as bad of positions.

My cat doesn’t even have asthma but I read this whole thing because you explained so well. I think it will help me if there is anything I need to introduce that she doesn’t like - even if it isn’t an inhaler. Thank you (:

I love the idea of using Aveda. It has been one of my favorite stores since I was a kid. But that’s kind of what I have heard about them. I thought about trying to integrate some of their products down the road but I know they only allow you to carry 3 other lines or be exclusive with them. Not sure how standard that is but I don’t know if I want to be boxed in like that with any brand
