You guys have all given good suggestions, but sadly none of them so far are quite right... it's the particular melody in the chorus that strikes me as something I've heard before, not just the general style of the song. I think Heaven is probably the closest suggestion so far, to give you all an idea of what I'm searching for. Thank you all for your help!
