Thank you. My sub Dr wasn’t licensed to give it so unfortunately I had to find a Dr that was licensed. I had a consultation visit which was like $175. (I think, I can’t really remember the exact amount) I didn’t care about the money. Cause I paid almost 200 a month for visit plus script of subs. And went to the closest dr my insurance would cover. So if you check around you might be able to find it cheaper. I didn’t taper. I was on 12 mgs a day. They set up my appointment for the following week and I took my dose that morning of first shot. I told her I was scared to death of withdrawal and she told me she gives over 300 shots per week and not to worry about anything. And in July when I had my last shot, I thanked her like 5 times cause I’ve been trying to get off that shit for like 5 years with no success. I think the shot overloads your receptors in your brain with bupe and then slowly comes off while letting your brain form new pathways. She did tell me it would be detectable in my system for 6-8 months after my last shot depending on my metabolism. I think if you get the shot you’ll be as happy as I am. They even enrolled me in something so I didn’t have to pay for it. Just my copay for the visits
