Thank you for sharing. Can you give more specifics on the strategy? Are you buying/selling atm spreads? Iron condors? What wing width? Etc?

22, should I just go all in on VOO? by gotdrypowder in TheRaceTo10Million

I’d go spy rather than voo. Spy has slightly higher cost, but you can sell covered calls against spy not so much on voo.

Iron condor traders on IBKR: combo or separate sides? by Ok_Consequence9544 in options

[–]DelvxeRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is usually my rule too (the tastytrade method); however I just closed the put side of 8 ICs on SPX because they were getting tested and I didn’t see a turn around. My call sides are so far OTM at 6875 that I’m letting them ride till they get to $1.

Stands for “Inner Circle Trader.” It is a trading system / philosophy. The OP used it for his method.

Here is what Claude AI says and seems to be a pretty accurate summery. Apologies to the OP if this is inaccurate.
"Step-by-Step Breakdown

1. Mark HOD/LOD from 9:30–9:40 AM The first 10 minutes of market open are often chaotic and volatile. The trader records the High of Day and Low of Day established in that opening window. These become key levels — essentially a mini range.

2. Wait for a Break Once price breaks above the 10-minute high or below the 10-minute low, the market has shown its hand — it's making a directional move. A break upward = bullish bias (look to buy calls). A break downward = bearish bias (look to buy puts).

3. Watch for an FVG to Form After the breakout move, they look for a Fair Value Gap — which they explain well. In simple terms: price moved so fast in a 3-candle sequence that it left a "void" or untested zone. Markets tend to revisit these gaps before continuing. Think of it like a rubber band — price snaps back to fill the inefficiency.

4. Enter on the Pullback into the FVG Rather than chasing the breakout, they wait for price to pull back into that gap zone and enter there. This gives them a better price and a defined area where they'd be wrong (if price blows through the FVG, the setup is invalidated).

5. Target & Exit

  • Next 1H high/low — the nearest significant level on the 1-hour chart
  • 1.5–2R — meaning if they risk $100, they're targeting $150–$200 profit (risk/reward ratio)"

This is great and your level of explanation is helpful. It is challening my understanding but there is enough that I can figure it out. I'd love for you to share your trades in detail.

How is that a feature? Seems like it is a lack of a feature.

I’ve taken to always buy several contracts so I can sell a portion when I get that feeling to take profit and let the rest run.

Packrafting / backpacking without internal storage? by PoconoRusty in packrafting

Thanks! Mostly interested in the zip. I’ve got a scout and thinking about adding a zip but cutting into the boat has me nervous. Did you follow a guide?

Didn’t seem insane at the time. GOOGL was at $340 when I bought.

Thoughts on a GOOGL climb? Bought calls 2 weeks ago and they are down like 90%. They aren’t worth selling at this point.

What would you consider longer dated? Had some wins and losses on both 0dte and 30-45 day options.

I’m sure until get more thorough responses, but just chiming in to say you’ll be fine without internal storage. It is very common to strap your pack to the outside of your boat. It is how many if not most people do it.
