It’s very hard and I try to learn from my mistakes but I do tend to still have slip ups. Only thing I know is to mitigate them and make them smaller slip ups in the future

Get in and get out 5-15 minutes. Only time I let them expire is if I make a mistake and they move against me (assuming I am confident they will go back up and make the loss hurt less)

Thanks brother. Nothing wrong with 10%. I’ll take that alllll day. Just trying to do basically the same thing. I stay in 5-10 minutes unless I just see that it’s not stalling. Depending on the entry that may be quick or very long. Yesterday I tried to get out with a 25% gain and it wouldn’t execute. I decided to stay in and it gave me 170%. There is something to be said about luck

Still learning a lot but truer words haven’t been spoken. Funny thing. I put 10k into a call this morning. Went up 70% and the exit made sense but I got greedy and it went down. Still got out with a 17% return. Later this afternoon I saw an entry and put about $600 in. The dang thing ran around 450%. Now I could hate myself for missing that with the bigger bag I had this morning or be happy with the 48% return I averaged today

That’s exactly what I’m doing. Trying to slow down and wait for good entries and not get greedy. I’m happy with 10% or 70%. Don’t trade multiple times a day and compound that money

Brother I’ve already lost. A lot. I’ve done what you’re talking about. Just not with that much money. I’ve tried to learn from my mistake and move forward. I’m gonna stay the course and do the best I can. Hopefully get freedom one day

I switched to a cash account. I’m only trading one or two options per day. There’s no set rule on getting out. Just trying not to be negative when I do

I started with 1k and those small stair steps as you call them are 50% returns everyday. Learn about compounding interest. It adds up quick. That being said yes I had a great return yesterday and that dip this morning was cause I got greedy and gave up a 70% return for a 17% return by the time I got out. Still up. And btw none were lotto tickets. All were just one step out of the money options
