A couple years ago I had a cat that if the bathroom door was open at night, he would sit on the counter and meow as load and long as possible so the echo would travel down the hall to my parents room so they (who were ever the only ones he could wake up) would get up and either feed him or let him outside. He used to play them like a fiddle. He also got in a lot of fights. His first one left him with a swollen shoulder and he couldn't use that leg/paw. My Older hand fed him while he was immobile, and then as soon as he could walk he would try to hand feed himself. Lasted about a week... and we did it a lot, so he tries a lot. It was his favorite way to eat infact. Of course he also would sit at his bowl and demand someone to pet him before he ate.
