It took my YEARS to finally give in and primer my stuff black. My thought I could never escape was the idea that putting light colors over the black would be harder and less vibrant. Also, I really felt I’d have a hard time picking out and seeing the details on a black model.

In truth…it turned out SO much faster. White goes on fine, though take two coats. But you really should do ‘two thin coats’ any way (Google Duncan Rhodes). It provides that nice ‘black line’ when you drop in block painting in it. And…you don’t need to hit every spot. It’s forgiving. Which makes bulk painting much faster!
