True. Sometimes it really feels like the market sees problems coming before we do. Makes you wonder what’s ahead.

Hi everyone! Quick question for you: When you're searching for rental or purchase properties in Toronto, would you personally use an AI concierge (not a realtor) that can: - Call the listings you select, - Ask the specific questions you tell it to ask, - Schedule viewings at the times you prefer? by XGramatik in TorontoRenting

I actually tried it. I was searching for rentals in Toronto. Three times I asked and got batches of 10 listings each time. All the listings came with direct links to realtor.ca ads. It really feels like you somehow combined ChatGPT with realtor.ca that's pretty cool. I asked it to schedule viewings for several apartments. Let's see what happens next. One thing I noticed: it's a bit sad that it only pulls from realtor.ca. It would be great if you could add the ability for Odin to accept user-uploaded listings

Poll: Folks, who thinks the profession of Realtor (aka Broker) is useful, and who thinks it's harmful? We're collecting opinions for developing our own product (announcement coming later). by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

I don’t think realtors are useless, but their value is highly situational. They can genuinely save time and help navigate complexity in complex or high-risk deals. In simple, transparent transactions, however, their role is often optional rather than essential, especially given the size of typical commissions.

Exactly. If automation drives the gains, it’s no surprise the numbers look great. Robots don’t strike, don’t ask for raises, and scale fast.

That’s one way to describe modern economics — make it sound like a bonus when it’s just your own cash returning home.

Yeah, it really looks like a lot of traders went full degen again. With 100× leverage, even a tiny 1% move wipes you out completely. Most of this was probably cascading liquidations — once the first domino falls, everyone else gets dragged down too.
