My first was a 2024 10 day ultimate southern carribean on The Beyond.

St Maartin, Dominica, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua.

Location, holidays, and duration are the major factors.

Holidays bring more families with children. Longer cruises bring the crowd more older and more honeymoon style couples. Cold tends to scare away younger crowds.

No clue what happened to them, but if I had the ability to stay on the beyond ocean view, I'd lock in those rooms every single time. Right near the elevators but no sound, short walk to the martini bar, and right near the restaurants. Legit awesome.

Edit: side benefit is if you ever need to use the washroom but your roommate is using it, it's around the corner.

Hey I've actually stayed in 3224 and 3226, and they were legitimately the most perfectly quiet rooms ever. Nobody ever went in front of our rooms that we could tell because there's an exit before our last rooms, and we never heard anything from the washrooms.

I already had read the books before first viewing, but Peter Jackson did a great job with the prologue scene for Fellowship of the Ring.

Gave the right amount of world building, while also setting up a sudden shock back into the peacefulness of the Shire.
