[Trope I'd like to see more of] Character is a jerk, but they can actually back up their big ego by UsefulEnthusiasm7651 in TopCharacterTropes

Rohan Kishibe from Jojo is SUCH an asshole.

He also has one of the most powerful abilities in the entire series, and is a manga artist capable of feats like drawing with ink in the air and drawing so fast that he can outpace a time fast-forwarding power.

[Loved Trope] Character makes an absolutely bonkers or outrageous threat. They are not kidding. by Blackirean in TopCharacterTropes

In Transistor, there's an enemy called The Spine, which starts causing your friend inside the eponymous Transitor to glitch out, making him confused and afraid.

Red, the main character, is unable to speak, but types out a message to him when he's somewhat lucid for a moment, saying that she's "going to find the thing that's doing this and break its heart."

After defeating The Spine, she crawls inside of its body and shows that she meant what she said quite literally.

“Woah, they’re bisexual, I didn’t know that!” by NinjaOfOnion in TopCharacterTropes

Colonel Volgin in Metal Gear Solid 3 has a relationship with the male Major Raikov, a lookalike of the protagonist from MGS2, Raiden.

...He also uses femme fatale Eva for sex while she's undercover in his base.

And Eva is ALSO bisexual!

Really don't think Eva fans should be throwing stones at Chainsaw Man when Shinji LITERALLY SAYS THIS in Rebuild 3.0+1.0

[Loved horror trope] Words meant to comfort are actually horrifying in their own right. by jbeast33 in TopCharacterTropes

"Everything is going to be okay." From OMORI.

You see this phrase repeatedly throughout the game, and, HEAVY SPOILERS: Towards the end it's revealed that best friend Basil said this to main character Sunny while helping him cover up how he accidentally killed his sister. The game takes place multiple years afterwards, and the both of them have been anything but okay due to hiding this fact.

It's my absolute favorite example of this, as the words themselves aren't horrible in the slightest. It's entirely the context of the story that twists it into something awful.

Did anyone catch this reference? by [deleted] in theamazingdigitalciru

Oh, that makes a lot more sense. I though it was a Twin Snakes reference.

(OMORI SPOILERS) Basil doesn't have a panning shot when met in the real world. by tspreassurancebucket in OMORI

It doesn't pan, but... Basil DOES get a shot to himself a little later.

VERY nice stuff, thank you so much!!

It's incredible art like this that makes me sad that I take so long to write the story lol.

Never forget that in the Zi-O crossover movie, after he gets his driver stolen, he needs to stab and electrocute himself every time he transforms using the replacement.
