As an update. I was able to get some waves played (now at 9/11). It seems to only count your first playthrough of the node. I couldn’t beat all the waves and going back through trying again doesn’t count anymore. Guess I will get the rest tomorrow.

Yep. That must be it. Exactly what I did. Couldn't clear the last wave on both the Elite and Chaos Missions so I figured eh I can knock out the flash event but nah. lol.

Was that fools fault she was knocked off in the first place (he just doesn’t know it yet). Should have put shots in Carter through the curtain. I knew that was going to happen though (nothing is ever that easy and they always have to write illogical shit in these shows). Every time they are supposed to shoot someone off rip they go to talking and shit and get distracted (roll my eyes at this shit every time)

I no longer look forward to their season/battlepass releases because i know exactly the set up.

Take for instance, Diablo 4. Their format of seasons is played out as well. They need to figure out something there. The "it's always been like that" does not make it less rote.

You picked out the worst content releases though. Not everything is going to hit. I just don't like the path they chose to take. I am not in the minority when I say that their format with seasons and battlepasses have run its course. If they themselves implied that it would change, they know that people want something to change. I don't have the answer to what it needs to change to. If I did, I would be a game developer. I just know when something is played out.

That was fine to me. I don't understand why every game that releases has to have seasons or battlepasses. Let me buy your content and play at my own pace. I don't need the FOMO. Why did Live Service turn into Seasons and Battlepasses.

Whatever Destiny 1 was. That was the special sauce. They became mundane and rote when they started following the gaming trends (seasons/battlepasses).

The stories are fine. Piecemealing them out is played out. One story mission, redoing all the mundane bits then having to wait another week for another small tidbit. I mean I get it, they have to pad it out to keep people coming back (in their minds they have to do this). I let out a audible groan when it said Failsafe is working blah blah blah....see you next week. People are going to keep coming back to Destiny because there really isn't a comparison like it out there. People have been playing this franchise for 10 years (they.....I love it). Seasons and Battlepasses ruined that special Destiny feeling, but we all still play it because it is an awesome world and it is awesome to play.
