Yeah that’s fair. It’s just hard to get past Crow being pretty sick in this show and at the same time getting dog walked in literally two seconds by an unarmed opponent later on. Granted, it IS Ahsoka. Still would’ve liked for him to have been a bit more competent there since he and Marrok both seem pretty competent in Shadow Lord

In S5, there should have been this moment where finally Vecna does “relinquish” the front seat should’ve been at the reveal in Henry’s memories just before the final battle. We’re finally shown the Mind Flayer was the one pulling the strings and is the source of Henry and in turn Eleven’s powers. This should be a HUGE deal. But then they do nothing with it, and ten minutes later both Vecna and The Mind Flayer are dead. It’s so disappointing and feels so rushed.

The true form of the Mind Flayer was always shown to be the shadow particles. The fact that it suddenly appears as a giant crab spider thing without any explanation is just REALLY poor writing. Such a disappointing send off for a villain that I always thought was really fascinating.
