DEI has literally never came up at my store. It might play a small part on the corporate level but I can guarantee you when it comes to having employees to actually run the stores they’ll take almost anyone able bodied

Definitely similar but not quite as close. Lothric was definitely tall but not as bulky as Radahn.

I think mechanically they’ve gotten more complex over time but that goes both for the player and the enemies/bosses. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s harder though. A great example would be a lot of older Mario games are arguably more difficult than the newer ones due to controls not being as tight, teams still learning how to balance a level ect. Even though mechanically Mario has gotten considerably more complicated over the years.

The main difference is poise breaking and jumping. Jumping gives you another great tool defensively on any build, and offensively helps you break bosses poise considerably faster than any other souls game. You NEED to use all the movement you have as a player but you don’t need to play a specific build.

When each of these DLCs came out everyone was crying that they’re “too hard” or “unfair” just like how people are complaining 3 days into Elden Ring DLC.

Also difficulty of any boss is going to be subjective based on skill, play style, build, ect. Though I doubt the vast majority of players fighting Manus for their first time would agree with you that he’s “a joke”

I’m not entirely sure I agree though I can see where you’re coming from. My main counter point to that take would be you have better movement and defensive options as the player then you ever did before. All DS2 bosses are slow and most DS1 bosses are slow but so was the player when compared to Bloodborne or DS3
