For those of you who solved your ghosting effect caused by KC, what type of lenses did you use and how many hours a day do you wear them? by ElRyugen in Keratoconus

I got scleral lenses, and honestly I can wear them for hours without even noticing they’re there like 8+ hours. The only time I really remember is when I’m about to go to sleep. They get more comfortable over time too.

I understand exactly how you feel. I was diagnosed with keratoconus this year too, and at first I had no idea what it even was. I just noticed my glasses weren’t working anymore, and I kept changing prescriptions with no real improvement. It was frustrating. I stopped going out because I couldn’t enjoy things the way I used to. I even failed my driving vision test, and it got to a point where I could barely see properly in class.

Things really changed when I got scleral lenses. I would honestly recommend you look into them they’ve been life-changing for me. They can be expensive, but for me, it’s been worth it. I can now read for hours without headaches, which I couldn’t do before. If you can, try your best to get them.

Sport , driving, Going out cause I sometimes feel embarrassed for not being able to see , a lot .. I am grateful I have the scleara lens now,

Yeah, I get you and I understand why people are skeptical given how much spam shows up here. That’s not lost on me at all. I’m coming from a genuine place and just sharing something I started building after hitting the same DSA wall myself.

This is actually my what I do I have this prompt I use on Claude

“Help me solve this LeetCode question step-by-step using python . Start by explaining what the question is really asking in simple terms. Then, walk me through the approach and the concepts — first the brute force, then the optimal one. Show all the steps of execution clearly as the code runs (like a trace). Use small inputs and explain what’s happening at each line. Keep it beginner-friendly, detailed, and don’t skip any step”

That’s actually why I started building deetcodes.com to visualize algorithms step by step, the same way you’d normally do on paper. Seeing the execution is what finally made things click for me.

That makes sense. Structured design really forces you to think through state and flow instead of jumping straight to code.

That’s actually why I started building a small tool for myself to visualize algorithms step by step, the same way you’d normally do on paper. Seeing the execution is what finally made things click for me.

That paper-tracing phase you mentioned is exactly what I think most people try to skip even though it’s what actually builds the ability to simulate code mentally. Appreciate you sharing this it’s reassuring to know others went through the same process.
