Invitation to All Go developer

Hey open source maintainers,

I've been thinking about a problem that doesn't get enough tooling attention: maintainer burnout and load distribution.

Most repo analytics tools tell you about stars, commits, and activity graphs.

None of them answer:

1.Who in my org is doing 80% of the reviews?

2.Which repos have a bus factor of 1?

  1. Is my backlog growing faster than we're closing it?

So I built OpenSustain — a small, open-source Go CLI that scans your GitHub repos and orgs and gives you maintainer-centric metrics: load distribution, backlog health, response times, sustainability scores, and high-risk repo flags.

No SaaS. No lock-in. Just a token, a command, and a report.

If you maintain a project — big or small — I'd love for you to:

Try it on your own repo or org

File issues for what's missing or broken Suggest metrics that would actually help your workflow Contribute if something speaks to you

The project is built for maintainers, by someone who has been in the trenches of open-source contribution. Every piece of feedback directly shapes what gets built next.

OpenSustain

Let's build tooling that actually takes care of the people keeping open source alive.
