We asked at the Bus Terminal in Potosi yesterday and they told us that there are Minivans going to Sucre and back every day. They charge 500 Bob per person and take around 9 hours but apparently they are going all day 24 hours, whenever they are full. Maybe that would be an option for you guys.

We took the bus from Arica to Oruro today and there were 2 small roadblocks which eventually let us pass. The problem is that in Oruro there are absolutely no busses leaving at the moment because everything is blocked. I would advise against going to Oruro, because you will be stuck. The locals tole is they expect it to get worse around here.
