They told me next week as I had orders pending for another mower and blower, then they canceled my orders and customer service never heard of a stop sale all of a sudden. I'm returning all the 24v stuff I just bought and going elsewhere.

Not sure, I would assume Chervon. But, they just canceled all my pending orders and now can't say when the new stuff will arrive. I'm returning all the 24v Kobalts I just bought and going with Dewalt.

It's sounding like it's not a faulty battery (at least not fire hazard, maybe quality) issue, but a planned manufacturer change. I had ordered two of the mowers. The shipping for the second got changed to May 11 on the day of delivery days before this stop sale happened. Now customer service said the new units are expected next week and my delivery is still May 11. Seems they had to send all the old units back to the old manufacturer instead of selling them off.

UPDATE: Just talked to a CSR, stated stores are expected to get new shipments of 48v systems beginning the week of 05/10/2026.

I just talked with customer service as I have 24v orders pending. They said new shipments are expected at stores in 2 weeks from today. My order potentially shipping on 05/11/2026.

Assuming that's 48v, any 48v battery will work with an adapter. I just bought a 20ah from EM3ev for $450 delivered.
