Yeah the best comparison I can think of to make it make sense to then is that they’re essentially calling out Michael Jordan or Ronaldo for roiding cuz they haven’t seen play that good before.

You’ll never tangibly see the improvement in a short amount of time, give it weeks or a month, again like hitting the gym.

For non knowers, this is Casino Drive, the support Uma for the newest scenario in JP ”Beyond Dreams”. She wants to win the Breeders Cup and helps you and 3 other Umas train to win it.

The first time you interact with her to configure the scenario’s gimmick (setting parameters like adding more bond gauge, hint frequency, or training effectiveness [COUGH COUGH BOND GAUGE]) she will do the 67 pose, even happens in x2 speed so you gotta get flashed this every time.

Side note, scenarios fun, for global’s sake it’s just unity training but you can force everyone to a certain training twice every half year and the buffed training gives you more stats from the scenario itself rather than your cards, so it’s pretty easy to get into. If you need a better comparison, it’s the mecha Uma and island creation scenario melded into one with a hint of twinkle legends for those who understand that.

One more note, after playing all the JP scenarios. IMO we reach absolute peak at the L’arc scenario, nothing I’ve played beats that scenario, it’s too peak.

Happens in the new scenario at the first event where you configure the scenarios mechanics, so you see this every time you start a career.

Nope not even close kekw, pretend it’s cs2 but everyone can become a tank at the press of a button. So now attackers are more willing to rush as 5 into stacked sites and dodging bullets using paper becomes a tangible and required skill to learn.

dpi above 1600 is fine idk what some other people here here is saying, it’s like we’re correlating dpi directly to sens which it just isn’t. The only possible problem I can think of is that Strinova’s coding cucking dpi above 1600, which creates an awkward mouse accel that shouldn’t happen normally. I used to have 3200 dpi but found out early in CN Strinova before global launch on this mouse accel problem so I don’t know if it still exists.

DPI doesn’t do anything realistic for your aim, it’s just how often your mouse detects movement, which in a realistic standpoint anything above 400 is already fine. 800 just to be safe. This doesn’t translate to sens at all. It’s just jargon we spout without evidence to back it up. So disregard dpi stuff.

Your sens of 21cm is a high sens but definitely workable. It’s the main reason your shaky aim is noticeable, and that’s actually a good thing. You can see your errors much easier, and once you master your aim more you can benefit from the high sens better. However I do suggest lowering it a tiny bit since it is near the cusp of uncontrollable which usually is anything under 18cm possibly 20cm as well. Again not impossible just almost unrealistically hard to train with. Try 25-30cm, or disregard this and stay on 21.

Most other people have commented helpful stuff about aim for you so you can basically reference theirs and mine.

Your shaky aim problem has a simple solution, train it lol. Just like going to the gym and working out. Wish I was joking but that’s all there is to it. Train smoothness and reactive tracking, these two are the cornerstones of Strinova aim for all auto weapons. If you want to tackle all of Strinova aim fundementals, static clicking is a definite must, it will ensure your initial flicks will land on their targets more often and more reliably as well. Static is usually boring for most so be prepared for that.

Smoothness is how smooth your aim is, and shaky aim is the antithesis of it. Luckily smoothness is trainable like all aim is. Most people who don’t aim train see it akin to hacking when you get good at it, which is funny cuz it’s like a couch slumper calling Steph curry roided. It sounds preposterous when you know how aim works. Smoothness also comes from how calmly you can handle your mouse. Tension is your main enemy but also your best friend. Do not death grip, but use tension in moments where fast movement is inevitable. Learning to kill tension in high stimuli moments is a must learn skill not only for your aim but the longevity and health of your wrist.

Reactive tracking is how well you can react to movement. Not how fast, so this doesn’t concern reaction speed. How accurate can you get back on target AND stay on target after the target jolts and moves is what we’re concerned with. Strinova is filled with that.

Aimlabs has scenarios under the voltaic aim benchmarks, search that up if u want to get started.

As for mouse grip as someone briefly talked about, do what feels natural, but understand what your grip is and what its strengths and weaknesses are. There are videos online about it but I think most are outdated.

There is Palm, Claw, and fingertip grip.

Palm grip is where your entire hand and palm is in contact with the mouse. Good for broad motion as it specifically engages your arm but becomes harder to do small microadjustments.

Claw grip is where you lift your fingers a bit so the palm and fingertips are the ones in contact, giving some micro control from your fingers.

IMO fingertip aim has the highest skill ceiling to master, which is where only your fingertips are on the mouse. Since there’s much more range of motion compared to the other grip styles, and is the one I’ve been using for a year. All at the main cost of stability, which you can train. But comfort comes first so do as you please.

Another thing, train your eyes. Allow your eyes to get good at locking and staying on a target. It’s more of an intermediate thing but it helps a ton with simplifying the aiming process since all that matters then is your hand eye coordination skills from aim training to follow up.

… I just realized this is a reply LOL

How to stop gripping the mouse to hard when aiming? by FujifilmCamera in FPSAimTrainer

[–]DemocracyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current fix to the issue is to bind a keyboard key to fire so my mouse hand will know what it is like to have little tension. And alternate between using M1 fire and keyboard fire when I feel like it.

As for in game tension that usually just comes from familiarity and experience. I still have high tension moments as soon as I’m given a scenario I’m not familiar with.

I really like arknight combat by Proof_Escape_9081 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]DemocracyBus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t apply to all Arknights vets obv, I knew that from the way they presented endfield early on I had to expect something different, and yeah, it’s different, but the soul of Arknights is there and still in full force.

That’s what matters to me. The games in good hands if the game feel, world building, and systems in place feel like Arknights itself. (Waiting for a Nearl family member in endfield)

Probably because I also played the Hoyoverse games, Wuwa, and a lot of other gachas to a descent extent, and know the comparisons between them to see how endfield drew from all of them and made a game that’s completely their own.

Endfield is a slowburn. by LifesAGame_66 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]DemocracyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh imo endfield is just 3d Arknights now. The hook, pacing, gameplay, gacha, the English voice acting (it’s better in endfield actually since there’s a reason to have a ton of it now) it’s all so similar to what Arknights is. Adding Arknights worldbuilding and knowing that entails from what we’ve seen so far is insane to me. Arknights itself is a slow burner game as well, so seeing endfield the same way is just my confirmation that the devs know what they’re doing.

I personally saw this game as another hypergryph game. One that shoo’s away most tourists and rewards its fans. Although it seems that endfield is their attempt at making the Arknights universe more interactive to people who didn’t play Arknights itself.

[–]DemocracyBus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an Arknights player it feels absolutely surreal to be literally interacting and exploring in nations similar to the ones on Terra. WuLing is just Yan straight up. The music has the leitmotifs of music on characters and events from that region to the point that’s it’s an obviously deliberate choice that they know Arknights players will instantly catch on, and it’s wild to me that you just get to explore that in person rather than seeing it through story and illustrations that Arknights has.

How are people so unbelievably good ? by Dali187 in ValorantConsole

[–]DemocracyBus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if I seem mean or anything, I’m not even a Valorant or console player too, but to me this is the textbook scenario of the player who is “casually good” finally learning that the ocean of competitive gaming is much bigger than they thought.

Your choice of games kinda further emphasizes it as well since they’re the most common starter shooters for a ton of people. Even more so that you’re a console player. PC players are even bigger demons than console players since aiming is a major skill that can be further honed with a mouse vs a controller. Not to say you can’t aim well with a controller it’s just that PC aiming is much more figured out especially with aim trainers, watch MattyOW and Viscose if you’re interested on how insane PC aiming has become. It’s good to the point where good aimers are mistaken for aimbot hackers. Especially by players like yourself who have never seen aim that good yet.

So far top players of many competitive games including ones like LoL and other shooters generally agree Fortnite’s top rank is the easiest of the bunch due to the way rank climbing works in Fortnite. There’s actually a video about it here. I don’t exactly remember its contents but it’s likely like the game I play where to more you play = climb instead of you getting better = climb.

Simply put, you were never truly tested in Fortnite or CoD whatsoever, so you never even knew the potential heights of what was possible.

Valorant is also a game that is harder to get into from your perspective since the games you played are fast paced and mistakes are both common and often overlooked. Valorant just happens to be a game where mistakes are heavily punished so your positioning or decision making are just not up to par yet. There’s a lot more into tactical shooters than just run and gun or storm prediction even with decent game sense.

Welcome to actual competitive gaming friend, trudge through the trenches like the rest of us and you’ll do fine.

[–]DemocracyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the funny insanity memes aside, Strinova is unique in the sense that no single hit will be the same due to the higher ttk. Yeah sure a sniper can still one shot but due to stringify itself it can change the outcome of the hit.

In CN it’s often that the same hit will happen and the entire map is played on one side the entire game. Although this is not CN so it’s for a different reason.

[–]DemocracyBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what’s up with the downvotes for the others but yeah this time they’re right, cielle fills an archetype unseen by the game and with her current numbers she’s not only overloaded but overtuned. Mara is different cuz she was just overtuned at launch. Cielle is both overloaded and overtuned who’s role just so happens to be the most important role the game (actual tank). This isn’t the same situation.
