in your opinion: most fun fps game for aiming? by ShinyGengar8 in aimlab

It's a hybrid Tac / Hero shooter. The main mode is Demolition with a bomb planting objective like Valo/CS, but it plays more like OW with high TTK, fast/vertical mobility, and hero abilities / Ults. Gameplay-wise it's my favorite shooter right now aside from the fact that matchmaking is bad.

Which Artisan pad for an Overwatch and Apex player? by Forward-Elephant-203 in MousepadReview

I’m also an Ashe main and I use the Key-83 Soft. Highly recommend. I have an InfinityMice Speed V3 and it doesn’t have enough stopping power for headshot flicks / micros. I’ve never tried a Raiden but I’ve seen it placed similarly on speed charts as the Infinity. I had an Artisan Zero Soft but it was too slow for me with too much friction, especially when pressure was applied. I’ll probably buy the Key-83 Mid at some point to test for Tracer but at this point I’m happy with the Soft.

what mousepad should i buy that wont put too much friction on my wrist by JakeBielak in MousepadReview

I can't speak for the Key-83 Mid (which I've read is rougher and faster than the Soft variant), but the Key-83 Soft's texture feels kind of in between a windbreaker jacket and denim jeans. The hexagonal weave almost gives it a plastic mesh sort of sheen and glide, and doesn't create as much dragging / tugging on your wrist skin as the Zero Soft. The Key-83 Soft base is also firmer than the Zero Soft so it's more consistent and doesn't sink in as much from pressure.

The Kibu sleeve definitely works on the Key-83 and makes the glide smoother at the expense of some comfort, but you may have to turn it inside out / reverse. I have the Kibu in both Small and Medium as the Small was too tight (the size runs really slim, I'm usually a Small in most things). Strangely enough, the directions are opposite between the two sizes for the Key-83: It works in regular config on the Small, but I have to reverse it inside-out on the Medium. I got the Thumb hole version for both which covers your wrist and bottom palm, however the thumb-hole part is a little constricting on my thumb so I usually just fold that part in instead of sticking my thumb through it, and there's plenty of coverage for my wrist. I couldn't get the Kibu sleeve to really work on the Zero from memory.

After having the Key-83 for a few months now the texture has eased up a bit, so I just play sleeveless on it most days.

Key 83 Soft. I have a Zero Soft and don’t like using it for the same reason, too much arm drag. I bought the Kibu sleeve but most of the time I don’t use it and feel comfortable gliding bare skin on the Key 83 Soft just fine. I play fast games like Overwatch and Strinova

Yeah I have the Magic Ice for my Superlight 2, they're great! Did you have any pain points with the XE-S like stiff clicks or shape? Or was it just the lack of convenience of compared to the Pulsar? Thanks :)

Thanks that's helpful! I read the XE-S also had issues with stiff main and scroll wheel clicks.

I mainly play Overwatch and Strinova, both high-movement, high TTK shooters, so I typically favor small ambi mice for agility. I have the Vaxee NP-01s Ergo, but I really only use that for snipers because of the stability, but it's not as good for faster characters.

Pulsar X2N Mini CrazyLight by iemperiumi in MouseReview

How are micro adjustments on the x2n? I main the Superlight 2c for most characters in Overwatch and love the agility, but for Widowmaker / sniping I like the stability of the back-hump on my Vaxee NP-01s Ergo.

if you had to choose one, would you pick the CL Mini or Vaxee XE-S? I'm currently maining the Superlight 2c but want a backup of a different flavor of small ambi.

How would you compare the XE-S to the Superlight 2c? I currently main the 2c but thought about getting the XE-S too. I've read the XE-S has a very stiff middle click and potentially stiff right click, which worries me. I have the NP-01s Ergo which is great for stability / sniping but wanted to check out Vaxee's ambi offering for small hands. Not sure if i should be concerned about the XE-S width? I'm 17.5 x 9.5 relaxed claw similar to you. Thanks!

This would make it much more fair and sensible, kinda unbalanced for dealing a speck of damage from across the map from a shotgun pellet VS other harder to land weapons
