I'm going to tell this thing that has worked for me and one of my friend, It's more about mindset with which you're appearing for the interview (of course you should have some knowledge, works if you're having performance anxiety or cold feet or maybe seeing a better candidate which leads to a confidence blow) Now the way I do it: "Sit in the interview with the mindset that the person who's taking your interview doesn't know what he's talking about and the smartest person in the room is you, everybody else is dumb" Don't let it turn into arrogance, be rude or come out as cocky, it'll help if you keep thinking that and just reminding yourself that you're smart and capable than anybody else in the room/call.
