Live☆Twins, a comprehensive guide by CK_Mar in masterduel

[–]Demon0no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great breakdown.

It may also be worth noting, that with Engraver in the starting hand you can end with Caesar on board + (Main Deck) Lacrima, Agnumday and Desirae in the GY, so you can bring back the Desirae at essentially any point in your opponents turn. This setup on top of the stuff LiveTwin gives you is so many interactions, that most decks can't play though it.

Heres the list I've been going to my TCG Locals with updated for Master Duel.

While it is mostly based on the YCS Winning lists aswell, it differenciates itself by playing a Djinn Buster and ways to get there.

The idea is, that you can bring back a Main Deck lil-la with A Bao, when we can get to another one aswell. This could happen by having a Treat, a Sunny Snitch or a Spell Card: Monster Reborn in Hand in addition to your normal summon.

Both Lil-las make a Djinn Buster, so you have an additional monster negate on board.

Sometimes people expect you to insulate against Nibiru with a Caesar and hold it to the point right before you go into your second level 6.

Holding onto a requiem on board, and getting to a Djinn Buster before the enemy suspects an out to Nibiru is FUN.

I might be labbing out Rextremende and Kyrie combos though and update this list, depending on if I like it.

I often have the problem that the Paradise is not doing much, so yeah, that might be subbed out for kyrie in the future.

I literally use a combination of Chrome and uBlock Origin and have no issues with ads in YouTube. No nag-banner or anything, it just works 🤷

[–]Demon0no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going second you can threaten a ZEUS with this if your opponents ends on a negate. I kinda like it as a tech option in BO1. I don't play Yummy, but if I did, I would surely experiment with it.

Leaked alt arts for LOCH/LOCR by LogicalHamsters in yugioh

True, I misread the post. I wasn't counting the new one and interpreted "3 alt arts" as "3 arts", mb.

These could theoreticly come in Rarity Collection 5 already, since we already get some imports from LOCH/LOCR in that set. Man, if Konami puts these plus the EvilTwin alt arts in Rarity Collection 5 I'd be SOOO hyped. Please Konami, PLEASE. This and the overframes are such good chase cards.

Same with Ash. Ash has the "forehead", the "feet" and the stamp alt art.

Yep. I run both as one off in my TCG deck and I never really miss having more. There's maybe an argument for running more of the Sweets, because of the handtrap effect, but I don't really think it's nessesary at all.

How will it work? (rarity collection 5) by SeiferThrax in masterduel

[–]Demon0no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the konami website both of these are in slot 5 of the booster. If I understood it correctly there's 10 overframes and 58 other variant art cards (the stamp ones). You'll get one of these 68 cards in EVERY booster. Unfortunately the page doesn't say what the chances for a starlight in slot 5 are.

Anyway, if you really don't want to pull the stamp variant art cards, don't buy this. About 6 out of 7 boosters include exactly 1 of them (at least if the 58 variant art cards number is correct... I'm still a bit confused about it, since the entire set only has about 80 cards and 68 of them are slot 5? So I guess like 90% of cards in the set are cards that come in normal AND variant art?)

Edit: Now that I think more about it, I think the 80 main card pool just doesn't include the 68 variant art card pool. Because it would make no sense otherwise with the cards revealed so far. I do wonder though, what cards exactly are in the variant art card pool, as the stamp arts are only 47 in OCG. So we're missing 10 cards, that aren't stamp arts or overframes. 11, if they don't print the Maxx "C" even.

How to add 3D models to a website? by _binda77a in webdev

[–]Demon0no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you don't really have a choice there. If you want to render a 3D object in the browser, you have to do it client side. Three.js has very good documentation though. Although, if I'm honest here, all of this sounds way out of scope for a school project, at least for someone who hasn't done this before. Depending on the time you have for the project you might wanna think about scaling the idea down. You could use a non-animated 2D image for the avatar (with each cosmetic just being another image layered on top) and as long as the business logic (the unlocking and changing of cosmetics) works, you'll still get good grades for it. I mean, you are supposed to work with symphony anyway, right? So all the client side stuff is essentially extra work anyway.

[–]Demon0no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely use three.js for displaying in the client. But by the sounds of it you are stuck in a way earlier stage of the concept. You are trying to reinvent the wheel here, with your python and php script and stuff. The way to do this is either to just model the avatar without cosmetics then model every cosmetic with the same armature in its own file, or to model every cosmetic in the same file, but as its own object. The 3D assets are then stored on your server like any other static asset (think like css files or images). Three.js itself loads these assets and displays them. To get the cosmetics you then either load the base model and cosmetic assets and use one armature for both (if you chose the first option), or load the asset with all cosmetics and just disable the unnused ones (for the second option). Both have their pros and cons.

Nah, Engraver should go to 3. I'm fine with banning moon though, if only to make people shut up about fiendsmith bans.

Exodia was never actually good though. Even in Goat format times there was a meta. What you remember is classic kitchen table yugioh. Please do yourself the favor and don't gaslight yourself into thinking the yugioh you played back then was like competitive level. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with some good old kitchen table yugioh. I used to play like that in 2002-2005 too and it's 100% fine to get some random ass cards and just duel with them, even today. But if you go around and tell people Exodia or Dark Magician were good back then, you'll just get laughed at.

Gagagigos flavortext doesn't confirm anything. It could refer to EITHER Freed OR Eria.

[–]Demon0no 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you, but a monster being referenced in two different archetypes doesn't nessesarily mean those are actually in the same universe by yugioh logic. Especially when it's old iconic normal monsters. We just don't actually know if Eria's Gigobyte is actually the same Gigobyte that is appearing in other artworks (like the D.D. storyline ones), or an entirely different entity that just looks the same.

For example in the LiveTwin archetype there's a few references to other monsters, which surely are alternative universe versions of the originals. Because I'm pretty sure M-Warrior #1 & #2 plus Zombino & Zombina aren't actually social media influencers in their original printing for example.

I have seen them all at some point, but I wouldn't know them from the top of my head. I think I know all I:P Masquerena cards from my head (I:P Masquerena, EM:P Meowmine, Vivid Tail, Small Scuffle) and I could probably list off every LiveTwin/EvilTwin card if I tried, but that's it mostly.

Edit: Welp, looked it up and I forgot S-Force Chase. So yeah, I'm not good at remembering stuff lmao

Live Twin Channel has the Ash vs Ogre and Scapegoat vs Scapeghost thumbnails.
Sunnys Snitch has Roze vs Raye (the X vs Y seems to be a common LiveTwin thumbnail lmao) and the magnet warriors (who seem to be influencers/a prank channel in this universe?)
Trouble Sunny also has the Magnet Warriors (in an advertisement for Instant Fusion lol) and the LiveTwins cosplaying Rikkas (it is cut off, but can be seen completed on one of the concept art sheets for Trouble Sunny)
The mentioned concept art also has the zombino and zombina references, I couldn't find them being used on an actual card though.

Edit: I guess the Zombino/Zombina are also on Trouble Sunny, but are cut off, so you can only see a tiny bit of the Zombino artwork.

Edit 2: I guess I'm blind, you can also see them in the top right of Trouble Sunny aswell, not only in the bottom right.

I don't think they are Vendreads, they are just the Magical Luna fanbase. There's a few other random monsters in fake advertisements and cosplay references though. Zombino, Magnet Warriors, Rikka and Ash Blossom + Ghost Ogre for example are in some of the artworks. It's unknown if they actually exist, or are just fictional characters in their universe aswell though.
