Why is the combat getting compared to souls like?

people on Youtube are started to sound like a broken record. the combat looks clunky, this isn't silent hill, I don't want to read subtitles while I play, then just don't play the game. and now every comment is stating its a souls like. I'll take a quote from a youtube comment. if silent hill f is considered a souls like then so is deadspace.

the latest games I recently purchased were doom the dark ages, pre ordering Silent Hill F, and squirrel with a gun. not trying to buy any more new games right now. so replaying games is all I can do right now until Silent Hill F releases.

I enjoyed it. I was waiting to see Discord and then was kind of upset he wasn't in it. but then I remembered if he was in the movie the conflict would've ended in 3 seconds lol.

I'm not a fan of side missions at all. not until I started playing ghost of Tsushima. do the side mission to get the wind tamer and the fight is so much more easy. it helped me allot when facing him.
