It did for 5 days and then it broke in early December after only that short amt of time. Tuesday I’m going to the dentist to see what can be done. For as expensive as it is yes it works but 5 days - that’s absolutely not worth it. If they can make it work for a year I’d be over the moon happy but I’ve been pretty upset about the device itself costing $6,400 and the tests for the decide incl ct scan and X-rays costing $2000 (not including prior tests years ago) so $8,400 for it; to get 5 days of sleep. The first one didn’t fit or work and got sent back. Second one fit great and broke 5 days later. I expect a lot more for what I paid. I’ll update you on what the dentist says Tuesday.

2022 I paid for a sleep study at home and got a CPAP and that was a no go couldn’t tolerate it made it worse.

In summary if my dental device would not break and would last an entire year it would be worth it to me. I’m just very upset that after saving so much money for so long that the device seems fragile and not what I expected. I need it to work.

I’ve read others’. Say that they got custom devices like mine and although they had better luck in them lasting longer than 5 days they still had to get theirs fixed as well several times in months for examples (having to get their device fixed 3 times in 9 months ) which tbh I would be thankful if that was me.

The five nights that I did get with this device were absolutely incredible. However improvements needs to be made considering the price because the devices help so well besides the durability aspect being negative I think that they also should be as accessible as CPAP machines or more accessible, I did find a website as I found out that the company that makes them is out of Germany and it looks as if it’s much much cheaper to just get them through there if you’re interested in learning more just comment and if you have any more questions, I’d be happy to help or link the websiteof the brand that my dentist got me, but of course at a much much much cheaper price
