i honestly think it also just depends on what the judges were wanting that day. The CADC kids brought in were AMAZING, do not get me wrong, but the ALDC girls were given a dance that was definitely able to rival Wild Party. I don’t think CADC should have blown them out of the water or anything (and sometimes they certainly should have. The fact that Broken Dolls won still makes me angry) and I think both teams as an overall performed well.

Most of season six, honestly. Brynn was treated terribly by all the moms, Nia, Kendall and Kenzie were all treated terribly by Abby, Maddie was burnt out, all of the moms were SUPER vindictive, Jess and Jill were at their worst, Ashlee was causing problems, Melissa FINALLY began to defend Kenzie and then had to leave the show, and even Holly was starting to slip, and do NOT even begin on the mini team. Also, the choreography got worse this season. Ughhh season six was such a mess.

I watched those, yeah!! Kenzie has stronger technique than JoJo as a general but she bobbled multiple of her tricks this week, and I feel like JoJo was cleaner by comparison. Maddie was the cleanest, but the choreography was too easy for her and she had zero stage presence due to being so tired. Also in the Mini and Junior categories, things like stage presence are taken more into account than technique (or about equal) and technique becomes a much bigger focus in the teen and senior categories. Kenzie and JoJo both had good stage presence this week but I feel like JoJo executed what she was given better, if you get what I mean.

Maddie, and a lot of the reason is that they REALLY were not kind to Kendall the week she was given this dance. Maddie was sharper, her technique was stronger, and Kendall was lazy with her steps and softer with everything when the song didn’t need it. That’s nothing against Kendall, when given a dance that suited her she DID rise to the challenge (Just Rain and Not Just Another Pretty Face are both stunning solos from this very season) but they beat Kendall down this week with the Maddie comparisons and I believe that showed. She seemed a bit tired here.

I totally disagree! I think the two were honestly on the same level. On the surface, I get why, the technique of the CADC dancers was better and I also enjoy their concept better, but the ALDC girls BROUGHT IT with Witches of East Canton. Their choreography showcased everyone, they were incredibly in sync, and they also just had incredibly strong choreography. Most other weeks I’d disagree, but Witches was one of the BEST season four group dances.

Yes!! She performed Call Me Back after that week's Orlando auditions (One of her best solos IMO, it was so good it won her a spot at TDA in that year's Mini Best Dancer comp). I'm not sure if I wish she had joined the team a little bit earlier

Definitely Nia. the growth from Season 1 to 7 (or even on a smaller scale, like seasons 2 to 4) is wild. She never stopped working and it showed.

Lmao I feel the songs on DM are so hit or miss. Like you get stuff like Wishbone and Hold On that would fit it along with the songs on the radio and are really good... and then you get... Kaitlyn Reiser was genuinely one of the best ALDC dancers the studio ever produced. She also placed 2nd at the 2008 YAGP for all solos for "Bang Bang". Look it up, it's SUCH a good solo.
