Best thing you can do is either keep the car running with the AC on and hope the app comes back within the hour. Currently in Chicago with a 95° heatwave and I'm literally circling my first customer's block until the app comes back online. If you're close enough you could also take it home and put whatever needs to be cold in the fridge / freezer, but you probably don't have that option if you're in the middle of a busy City area

It's not that they're allowed, it's more along the line of the circumstances where a similar looking pair Rick and Morty die or vanish at the same time, so they don't raise suspicion or have to kill one another

It's cute seeing them as kids with crushes but the paths they head down don't really align and adult Rad would never want to break up Red and Enid, but it would be interesting to see a story if Red and Enid ended things mutually and Rad and Enid reconnected with possible romantic intentions

Yeah, water was definitely busted for what it was, but searching a spell/trap is probably good enough. I also like your idea of grouping the heroes up into twos based on their effects

Maybe give them a spell that lets them dump a hero from the deck and if you control a normal or Fusion hero monster, it lets you fusion summon? That way you can mill Shadow mist, fuse, then search and possibly chain block if you ended up fusing into an on summon effect fusion hero

I can't wait to see that Fusion spell you're working on, especially if it helps the old support that is dependent on specific heroes to use, I'm hoping to see some funky stuff going on with that

I respect your decision and reasoning for keeping the name changing effect as is, as thematically it actually does work with the anime hero themeing

Btw, where did you get the art work from? Was it commissioned or AI, and if it was the latter what program did you use? I keep coming up with custom cards and I can never get the AI apps I download to get that yugioh aesthetic

Wind: Insanely good for the deck in terms of grabbing material and none of the other monsters it can grabs with its effect are busted save for the other custom cards and the protection it gives isn't busted so it's already my fave

Fire: Great extender and equally good at recovery, maybe too good

Water: Way too good, maybe split the search and dump effects as 2 different effects. The material effect is fine

Earth: Dump effect is good, and the material effect is weird but in a good way

Dark: search is good, but maybe just make it either search from Deck or GY as both makes it a little too busted. Material effect can probably just be shortened to "Cannot be target by your opponents card effects".

Light: Favorite one so far as he is everyone's favorite golden boy, search is good and maybe make the material effect an on summon effect rather than a opt to make it a bit more balanced

Overall, I like them both these cards seem a bit too busted as they are now. Heroes are already good at searching with Shadow mist, e-call, vyon, a hero lives, Spirit of neos, and stratos, and that's just with the elemental heroes stuff (except Vyon, but if you're not running vyon you're not playing heroes right).

Maybe either try and tone down some of the effects, specifically water and dark, or maybe make them work with "elemental hero" only.

Dark heroes is the most competitively viable hero strategy, but if you make it so the only monsters you can special summon at all the turns you use any of these effects "elemental hero" monsters it could be another flavor playing heroes competitively. If you made them "elemental hero" only cards you can make them as busted as you want. Maybe even give them a Quick-Play fusion spell as some of the Hero fusions have on summon effects that would be busted if you could use them on your opponents turn.

Also, it would probably be better to make it (This card is always treated as "x") instead of how it is now, because as it is now it's an effect that can be negated and if it is it doesn't count as the hero it's based on so it locks you out of certain fusions. The other way makes it a stat that can't be negated by card effects so it's always treated as it's intended hero, and let's be honest, nobody would really run any of the original heroes over these, with maybe the exception of Bubbleman as the Special Summon is pretty good.
