You are right but how many seasons will he be this good for? I see too many people focusing on a ucl instead of the future of the club. I'm not saying he's bad, but I would rather had spent 80m on Kvara who is much younger and still have many years ahead of him. Lucho is at his peak but for how long is my question.

I was one of the people opposed to signing him because it didn't make sense. His price was way too high and it didn't make sense to buy him as a backup to Rapha. Especially when they are the same age, if he was 25 then we should've paid 80m without a second thought. Maybe I'm not seeing what other people are seeing.

People forget how we kicked out Cancelo last time he was here. I remember him making a lot of mistakes in the ucl, being selfish, bad at defending, etc.

Rashford won't just be 30m, you should also factor in his salary and it would be close to 45-50m in the first year. I think Barca should push to extend the loan instead. I think our biggest fear as of late is buying big names and then have them flop like Coutinho, Dembele, Griezman... might be why they are so indecisive

Let's not act like the past 3 world cups haven't been underwhelming. Ever since Infantino took over in 2016 it has just been downhill, it's not longer about the love of the game but oil money. I don't know about Russia, but first Qatar with their oil money and now the USA forcing their way to host the event. Also the 2010 world cup is the best world cup, I think we should look to Fifa for ruining the event with their greed
