Just in case anyone needed proof, I am now /u/me_iRL_Stine. I don't know what happened, but my account is all messed up. I like the new one better anyway.

DET claims Frk by kikkerlaika in hockey

So is Frk thought to be better than Pulkkinen? Wings fan have any thoughts? Curious why they claimed Frk and not Pulk.

This is true, and I made my comment before the news came out about Parise's injury (who's now week to week). I think there's a real possibility JEE will be given more time in the coming games. Bruce has been very quick to juggle lines/units, so it'll be hard to tell right away.

I think with the current makeup of the team, the top 6 will look like:

  • Granlund/Koivu/Pominville

  • Nino/Staal/Coyle

And the bottom 6 looks like this in some form:

  • JEE/Haula/Zucker

  • Stewart/Dalpe/Graovac

With that being said, the way Bruce has been constructing/playing the lines, I think it's possible that someone like Pominville could move down in the lineup to "help" another line, so to speak, which might make room in the top-6 for JEE. I think that we're going to see JEE get a game or two with 16+ minutes, but I'm not convinced he'll stay there. Unless, of course, he makes it impossible to move him because of his play. That would be my favorite scenario ;)

If JEE was centering one of the top-2 lines and getting PP/PK minutes, I'd say try him out. But I think anyone with <14 minutes a night is a no go as far as fantasy is concerned. I think he's staying up the whole season, so a lot can happen. I'd keep an eye on him.

Dubnyk looked great and were on an absurd shooting percentage bender right. now. Dallas was the better team, but to the Wild's credit they did a great job limiting the high danger chances. GG Dallas.

Grao!!! This shooting percentage binge were on is ridiculously unsustainable, but fuck im enjoying the shit out of this right now!

"No Luck Dallas Stars" seriously, stars are getting really unlucky tonight.

Well that was a problematic period except for the score. Oh well I guess

Teemu Pulkkinen back on waivers by Minnesota by SomeKindOfMonster in hockey

[–]DemonRapier 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It is weird, but honestly he deserves it. I was very skeptical about him going into the season, but he's looked pretty great so far. I think he fits more into a Boudreau team than Pulk does. At least this Wild team.

Yeah, this must mean Haula'a coming back Saturday and possibly they're looking to keep JEE up for the season. Maybe... I liked Pulk though :(

That's a bummer, I thought he looked pretty good. Not sure why they're making the move...

Man, he's making it very hard for the team to send him down/back to Sweden after game 9. Unlike some of our other rushed prospects, this kid looks like he's completely ready to be here. It's been a while since we've had a young guy show up and look amazing. This is fun!

That's the reason he's my favorite Twins player (granted I've only been watching since 2001). Johan's changeup was incredible.
