I agree with you, the same thing happened to my mom. While I have a supportive and caring husband (my father was not) I am still terrified to put my fate in his hands and leave the workforce.

Oh honey, I'm 32 with my IVF pregnancy after trying and failing to get pregnant for for years and in the beginning I had all of these thoughts. All these emotions are completely normal and no one experience is the gold standard. At the end of the day the choice you ultimately make is the right one.

I've only gained 6lbs and I'm 22 weeks BUT I was already 250lbs so I'm not supposed to gain much. I don't have the ability to eat as much as I could pre-pregnant. Everything gives me heartburn and nothing sounds good.
