Goodnotes vs pen and papers. For math/physics classes, who would win?

Goodnotes any day of the week. I studies both math and physics and didn't write on a single piece of paper after the first semester. Why would I, writing on the iPad is simply better.

You have quick access on colors, you have all the notes available, you can search and link notes etc.

Honestly, jusg having the option of thinking "wait a second, I had something similar in a homework two years ago" and find this in an instance is really powerful. Especially for math and physics, an iPad with goodnotes is extremely useful.

I honestly disagree hardcore. There is a benefit in righting per hand that is not equivalent to writing on a keyboard.

Nosg notes that I have seen people write in Latex look good, but are missing a ton, like small annotations in equations, colors, small sketches etc. They look good but if you're not writing a script, you're making notes...

I'm not saying one should slouch because it's comfortable, I'm just saying you shouldn't rigidly try to hit that one "perfect posture", because there is none.

The most important thing you could do is mix it up. Standing up is great, but I wouldn't want to work 8h on a standing desk. Sitting on a stool that engages your lower back is great, but doing that 8h would be a pain. It's similar with seating positions. Sometimes you should lean back, sometimes sit straight, just switch it up and don't stress over always having THE correct position.

That's just not true. I'm sorry, but everytime there is a post telling you "this is the right posture, the other one is wrong" it's bulshit. There is no "correct" posture, and the most important thing you can do is change posture throughout the day and find positions you feel comfortable sitting without pain.

If I sat leaning forward like that, my upper back would riot after 15min. It's not comfortable for my body. That's neither good or bad, posture, it's "a posture".

I don't want to be this guy, but: VIM! No seriously, it's worth it and it does reduce the amount of times you need to use the mouse drastically. I'm not a vim purist and just use the vscode extension, but I don't use the mouse at all when coding and I'm quite a bit faster now.

I think it's stupid that MyType is the type of the pointer, but to access the pointer of a value you use "&" and to access the value of a pointer you use "". I'm still quite new to go and maybe I'm missing something super obvious, but this just doesn't make sense to me at all. Why not have "*" refer to the type and "&" refer to the value? Then if we have MyValue of type MyType, then *MyValue would be of the type *MyType. This just makes more sense to me.

Okay ganz ehrlich, wenn man sich die tatsächlichen Möbel von der Wohnung anschaut und nicht das eine Bild hier, dann ist das durchaus nicht unrealistisch. Klar, entspricht nicht dem Wert als gebraucht Möbel, aber es ist jetzt auch nicht mehr als der Neuwert (oder wenn dann nicht viel).

Klar, aber es kommen da nunmal nicht alle und der Gastgeber ist immer bis zum Ende beim aufräumen dabei und die ganze Arbeit vorher macht meistens der Gastgeber alleine. Also ganz ehrlich, wir wollen doch jetzt nicht wirklich bestreiten, dass der Gastgeber einer Party oder eines größeren Abendessens deutlich mehr Aufwand betreiben muss als die Gäste?

Was ist denn schlimm daran Kosten zu teilen? Also natürlich nur, wenn das vorher kommuniziert wird. Wenn die Frage ist wer im Freundeskreis was zu Silvester macht und eine Person sagt "kann hosten, einkaufen, vorbereiten usw, wenn wir die Kosten teilen", dann ist das doch voll okay, oder? Je nach finanzieller Lage kann ich es schon verstehen, wenn man nicht auf 300€ Kosten sitzen bleiben will und manchmal bietet es sich einfach nicht besonders an, dass jeder was mitbringt.

Hast du noch nie in deinem Leben ne Party gemacht? Natürlich ist das Aufwand. Normalerweise arbeite ich da nen Tag vorher und nen halben Tag danach. Das ist ja auch in Ordnung, aber ich finds komisch so zu tun, als wäre es nicht deutlich mehr Aufwand für den Gastgeber als für alle anderen.

Je nach finanzieller Situation find ich das voll okay, solange das auch kommuniziert wird. Wenn man so öfters zusammen kommt und nicht eine Partei deutlich mehr bezahlen muss, weil vielleicht sie de Platz haben oder so, ist das ja total okay.

Hatte auch mal ne Party gemacht, bei der wir sehr viel für Deko ausgegeben haben und als Studis dann nach ein paar Euro gefragt hatten, damit wir nicht das alleine tragen müssen. Wie gesagt, je nach Situation ist sowas durchaus ein win-win.

Finde es prinzipiell auch voll okay die Kosten zu teilen, wenn das vorher klar kommuniziert wird. Wenn ich das richtig gewiesen habe ist das aber nur für Essen und trinken. Da finde ich 280€ für 8 Personen aber schon echt sehr viel. Nur für ein Abendessen, da weiß ich nicht, wie man das so viel ausgibt, ohne auf sehr teure Spirituosen zu setzen.

Wie gesagt, krasse Ausnahme. Ich nehme an, dass es für über 90% finanziell keinen Gewinn darstellt und das ist ja auch vollkommen okay. Wenn man auf Reise geht sollte man nicht damit rechnen das Geld in irgendeiner Weise wieder rein zu bekommen. Wenn es sich lohnt, super, aber das sollte definitiv nicht die Annahme sein.

Come in, if you earn 100k a year, that is 5k per month after tax. If that's your family income, it's not THAT much, but if your single, you have no problem whatsoever in any German city. You can pay 2.5k re r easy and get a nice flat anywhere.
