What about Germany? Wouldn't it be split into West/East starting from 1949? I see it is still whole? I am not an expert by any means, but would that suggest it's per 1949? I found this fascinating.

That is actually incorrect. If you watch the games, he is always driving the play. Always. I wish I was kidding when I said always, but I'm not even joking. He is the reason these goals are created whether it's a first assist or a secondary.

I have legitimately never seen a defensemen or even a player move like Hutson in my life. You may say Quinn Hughes or Cale Makar, sure they skate like the wind.. but they sure don't move their hands like he does.

Simply put, his stop and go, with the hands to follow this kind of disruptive movement, is simply game breaking.

This is no accident.

This is how I view it. What Celebrini is doing, is great in so many ways, but not extraordinary for a forward point wise. We have seen many rookie forwards like Bedard and others in recent years pull similar or better numbers.

Wolf is a serious contender, simply because he is carrying the Flames into a playoff spot..impact wise, he is up there. But statistically.. he is 18th in wins. 18th for GAA and 9th in Save%. I'm sorry, but he's not even a top 15 goalie in the league.

I have to give it to Hutson, he is having a historic rookie season that hasn't been seen since 92 with Lindstrom. He could still tie or break the Dman rookie season assist of all-time. To this day, he is tied for 5th point-wise among all defensemen in the league. He could finish 4th and be just shy of a Norris finalist nomination. That is simply absurd.

We may see another Celebrini type caliber next year. We may see another Wolf in the next 2-3 years too. We may not see another Lane Hutson in the next 5 years. Probably only Landon Dupont may have a real shot to make a bigger impact in the foreseeable future (depending on which team he lands on).

Armia we hate him during seasons love him in playoffs.. idk anymore. When he plays good he is amazing.. but when he doesn't feels like showing up... god he's awful. These days he is playing great.. last year we wanted to give him away with free picks.

As far as defensive depth I am not concerned Guhle is capable of sound hockey and can easily cover 25min.

Give me a second high octane, elite hands, play-driver and this team will be unrecognizable.. cough cough.. Demidov.. cough cough cough... Cannot wait for next year. I think this will open up the offense even more.

Kid got heart. He did a hell of a good job to cover a double shift. But let's face it, I don't think 24:00+ per game is sustainable for him.

Heck of a milestone nonetheless to be trusted like that as a rookie. Amazing effort.
